I thought the device was a bit cumbersome to set up. The booklet that comes with the deivce has such small print its about a 2 point font size! If I had magnifying glass I could have read itFor Android and Echo it needs an additional app Smart Life. Once your smart life account is registered you can go to Smart Life Divices. Smart life will only connect to a 2.4 GHz Wifi so I had to reset my phone to connect to 2.4 GHz band of my wifi. Then you long press the button on the little wifi plug in the outlet and it will rapid blink a ready mode. Go to devices on Smart Life and + to add. It will ask for the wifi password then connect to the plug. You can now test power on and off and set up a schedule. Now go to the Alexa app and go to the menu and select Skills. Search for smart life and add the skill. Login with your smart life account. Go back to home menu on Alexa and go to smart home. It should find the smart plug and want to synch. No you can finally say "Alexa turn on smart plug". In Smart Home on Alexa app you can change the name. I changed it to plant light.Its cool once its working but goodness, it takes a certain technical aptitude and patience to get it going.

Still haven't got these to work yet with Alxea and my echo dot. Internet. Network speeds need 2.4 and my provider is 5g, but also gives 2.4 still if needed. I managed to get one of these hooked up through the app, but when I moved it to another room, it disappeared off the app and I haven't been able to get it to work since. I'll keep messing with it, but it shouldn't be this complicated

These seem to work well/easily enough, I'm able to turn them on/off with Alexa and set up was easy. However, I bought these specifically because they are advertised with an "energy tracking function". This is not the case however. The only option in their app is to turn the sockets on/off.

They work, for what they are. But none of the app features like "scenes" or "timers" work with these. Something as simple as a timer controlled by the app should work... and it doesn't. If you want functionality and versatility, search elsewhere. If you want the epitome of BASIC controls... ON/OFF and that's IT... then go ahead... get these.

This item was great for 10 days then it just stopped working. I was able to ask Alexa to turn on & off and control with the app but the electrical current just wasnt going through the outlet plug!

Looses connection randomly. Wouldn't buy again

For the price this is a great item. Probably the best deal on 2x smart plugs on Amazon at the moment.

Love this out. Super easy to set up. Easy to use. I love that I can turn on for my phone and it operates with Alexa
