I got this for my dad last christmas. I got the medium size one I should have gotten there really really big one they tell you to test it out put it by a window because It can tell and show you with certain patterns from its crystals inside the glass container what the weather is planning to do the intensity of it for example my dad had one of these a long time ago it was huge I took up almost an entire table and when it snowed the crystals will gather at the bottom go to the top and flake down. It was beautiful the size of this one fits him now better it's about the size of a small lamp, but it doesn't necessarily work correctly. I had it out by the window for about 5 days before I gave it to my dad and it would show the pressures like a barometer but it wouldn't show when it was snowing and it wouldn't show when it was getting overcast and it was going to rain and those are two things specifically said it does do. It's giftable I think in my case because of the shipping the packaging and cold weather may have hurt this never put these in the freezer ever! it will immediately kill it. I know that because I've owned a couple of these and I think this one was in the freezer of a delivery truck and just was shot from delivery.

This is very pretty and exactly what my mom wanted for Christmas. It hasn’t changed or anything with the different weather we’ve had. Not sure if it actually works.

This product is good in theory, but mine does absolutely nothing lol. Now it does look cool sitting out, but that's about it.

Never moved or changed

This storm glass is really pretty, and seems to be decent quality. But it doesn’t work, which is disappointing, especially since it was a gift for my son. We followed the instructions, did everything right, but no results. It’s just a decorative item.

Got this as a gift for someone who is a weatherman :) they love it!!

I put the bottle near the window where it can get the light during daytime. At the beginning there is almost no crystal in the liquid because it was clear day. However it starts to gather crystals near the bottom the seond night. And the third day our city starts to rain.I checked info, the crystal is most likely sensitive to temperature change. Perhaps that is the reason it gets crystal. But I still like the behavior. Just treat it like a micro chemical system and it brings tranquility.

It's beautiful. My in laws loved it and it looks so cute on the piano top. During our cold snowy winter, it appeared accurate. I havent seen it since Christmas so I'm not sure of its appearance in summer yet. Great buy!
