Superior!
These are exactly what I was looking for! My son is tall and thin. I always have to see in the waist of his pants and buy a size up because his legs are so long. That wasn't necessary with these pants. These fit his school uniform requirements. He hates wearing belts and if his pants have belt loops, he's required to wear a belt. These are everything he wanted.

They fit!
These fit my skinny 5 and a half year old boy perfectly! Finally pants that fit. And no tabs or drawstring or anything to mess with. I feel like pants that have tabs etc are huge allowing for tightening as needed but it's ridiculous. These are also pretty long too for a size 5 and he's almost into size 6 in other pants I was worried a 5 might be too short but they're great. They are super durable too I'm sure they'll last him til he outgrows them and I can probably pass them to my 4 year old. I would honestly pay more for pants this perfect after hunting allover and buying many crappy $10 pants.

Durable school pants
These are reasonably priced school pants for children with special needs who have difficulty with buttons. They are a light/medium weight cotton/synthetic blend that wash and wear well without wrinkling if you hang them up promptly out of the dryer. The fit is generous without being over sized and allow a good freedom of movement. These have been very good about releasing stains in the wash without a lot of extra effort. I have bought both the shorts and the pants in increasing sizes as my son has grown as they always last well past the point where they no longer fit without any fraying or seems coming apart. The elastic is durable and secure. There are two side pockets and no back pockets. Totally pleased with these pants and worth every penny.

GREAT for active boy - wrinkle-free, releases stains easily
Really great uniform pants! We are half way through the school year, and the only signs of wear that these pants are showing is the faint crease near the bottom of the pant leg where I had to let the hem out last week. Pants come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. We've gotten on these pants mulch and dirt, spaghetti sauce, and just today sat on a large crumb from a moist chocolate muffin - and everything has come right out, even on the "Quick Wash" wash cycle. (I do treat all spots with Shout gel before putting into the washer.) The knees are still intact - no sign of any holes. The reinforcement fabric inside one pair of pants came off, and I plan to reapply it with Heat 'n Bond (iron-on bonding). No problems with the reinforcement patch on any of the other 3 pair of pants. These pants come with a VERY generous hem, so even if your child has long legs and/or is tall for his/her age, you can likely let the hem out and they should fit. My child is average height for age with short legs, so I had to take out the hem, cut off a good bit of fabric, and re-hem. Not a problem to me - just offering my experience.I will buy these again for next school year.

Great uniform pants
Perfect uniform pants for a boy that prefers pull on style! They wash and dry beautifully, pull them out of the dryer wrinkle free without shrinkage. They are very durable, wear nicely no bunching or wrinkling, and the seams don’t chafe. No they aren’t the most stylish, but my son loves them for the ease of wear and all day comfort. His school uniform requirements are quite strict, and these check all the boxes. He is 10 and wears a 10. He is not tall, yet I don’t have to hem these. When he was 8, he wore an 8. Again I never had to hem them, so possibly these would be short on a taller child. Price is right too, I will keep buying these until he stops wanting the pull on type.

The things we've learned before we settled on these pants.
When Kindergarten began, we went all out and bought real khaki pants—zipper and clasp included—from Old Navy for our six-year-old, who's lanky, not considering the time it takes to iron the pants. A month or two later, despite the reinforced knee, they were torn to shreds. All five pairs! I've always wondered why school boys are often outfitted in shorts, and now I know why. But pants are just more comfy and these have completely fit the bill. Take them out of the dryer a little warm and smooth them out and they'll look perfectly pressed. They are a little baggy, but the durability and lightweight material make up for it.

The Croutch ripped after one day at school
We bought these pant last year and the pants lasted all year. So we got on here and ordered some more for this school year. My son put them on yesterday morning and by the time he got out of school the teacher was calling me to bring him something else to wear for the rest of the day. I thought since it is double stiched probably a little rip. Well when I got to his school this what I found. They are making poor quality now and need to see why this happened. Look at photo.

Fiinally, something that fits!
My 7 year old son is tall and athletic. He's considered to be exactly the right weight for his height, but for some reason, I couldn't find him a pair of regular slacks that fit without being 5 or more inches too long. Finally discovered these pants and ordered a 10 husky. They are the first pair I've found that were actually a bit big in the waist, but spot on in length. He almost never tucks in shirts, so the elastic waistband isn't a problem. After tacking the waist just a bit, these fit him perfectly and he says they're really comfortable. Will be ordering more in the future!
