Really works! Much cheaper than other similar items, and it is the same quality.
Great for finding screws under thick paint and drywall mud.

Strong Magnet but doesn't work with Plaster / Lath
These have a really strong magnet which will work great in some instances where I need to pick up metal items or lost nails / screws.I was hoping that the magnet would be strong enough so it could pick up the nails in the walls in my older home that has plaster and lath but it didn't work.

.???
I got these because I was so curious about how these would helpMe find studs to hang wall decor. I’m still curious as these are noInstructions on how to use. I will have to google to find out.

Fancy refrigerator magnet
This thing is worthless. I would get the same results using a frig magnet.

Works only if you can find the nails in the studs
This concept is great, but it only works if you are scanning in an area to catch the nail in the stud behind the drywall. You have to run this thing up and down and all over the place to locate that...and then of course, though you should be able to measure the distance between where you find one stud and where another should be...that's not always the case -- so then you're scanning again. This is way smaller and less cumbersome than the electronic stud finders out there and works a bit better...so overall, I recommend this. But, honestly there has to be a better and more definite way to find the studs.

Effective and simple
These magnets are very easy to use. I gift find the nail using the magnets and then use stud finder.

These work on detecting screws in walls.
These do work in a pinch. They don’t work as well as a battery operated stud finder but in a pinch will find what you’re looking for.
