Amazing value for money !
My mum purchased one for my younger sister and as a fairy lover, I fell in love with the idea and had to treat myself to a little fairy garden of my own. For £9.50 you can't go wrong, very cute end product. The fairy in the pictures is an ornate one from my own collection as the fairy that came with the sets eyes and eyebrows were in the wrong place which made her look a little odd but my sister's was perfectly finished so I'm putting it down as a one off.Very very pleased and will be ordering more sets in the future !.

It’s a lovely and teaches children to grow things
I didn’t take a photo, Will had one later, it was bought by my son, well I had to order for him because he works away, my granddaughter kept on about this. I had not seen them before my son found one on here sent me a picture and I ordered on his behalf. Just got to get a little compost. My fault I thought o had some in. Not biggie get a bag later today. Hence no picture. I have to say it’s a really nice present. Granddaughter 3 today. I like it. It is in my opinion a project to teach children how to grow things. Like the grass. Out of everything we bought her for her birthday. She put to one side and she was only interested in the fairy garden. She wanted to get it going. Unfortunately it was only today I realised I had no compost. I see a few bad reviews, I can’t understand why it’s a educational toy. As well as a pretty fairy’s. House etc. Yes you can just buy a pot and grass seed as someone says. However I do not think it would have the same interest if it was just a pot. I highly recommended this I really do. I will get the other for her. It’s actually with what you pay. It’s pretty. As well as a interest in growing

Disappointing - lovely idea but poorly made
My son (nearly 6 years old) saved up his pocket money to buy this and was very excited when it arrived. The idea is lovely and he was really inspired by it but unfortunately it is either poorly made or badly designed. The most frustrating thing was that the way the windows slide into the base is flimsy and they aren’t secured in any way - so when the roof is put on they fly out. We’ve tried it multiple different ways and can’t slot the roof on with the windows in. In the end my son decided to prop it on top but was upset about the gap (as shown in photo). In addition some of the flowers were disfigured (as shown in photo), the ‘blanket’ for the clothes line was what looked like an old piece of dirty cloth (as shown in photo) - very frayed and with a brown tinge. The door to the house doesn’t open if you put the coloured gravel all the way up to it (as shown on the box and in the instructions) and quite a large gap needs to be left. The door hinge is stiff and tricky for a child to open and close to play with it. The house and doormouse flower house were very tricky to put together which frustrated my son as he had wanted to do it himself. The cap for the flower house stem was very tricky for even an adult to fix on.I would have returned this for a refund but when I suggested this my son was really upset because he had looked forward to it for so long and knew it would take time to return. He likes the little stars to sprinkle ‘magic’ on and is looking forward to seeing the grass grow (if it does!). There was plenty of coloured gravel, stars and seeds and the little doormouse and fairy figurines are sturdy and seem well made - he has really enjoyed playing with these. The garden bowl is also a good size.Overall, I would say this has some good potential for imaginative play but the construction of the house and quality of some of the other items make it disappointing.

Kids loved it
This was great fun for a 4 year old, however keeping it looking nice is a chore for life, haha.

Beautiful Gift
My niece loved this gift. She tended to it every day and sent photos to me to show how it was progressing. She was proud as punch when it was fully grown. One of the best gifts I have given her.
