Broke in half on first time using it on a 3lb fish.
Safe your money. Bought it for our fishing trip and second fish we caught the rod broke. Cheap made and not worth the money.

Great rod, reel a little tight.
A great rod. I surf free sh and wish the handle was longer. Yes, that woukd make the overall closed position longer, but it could be 6" longer and still ge a beautiful compact size.

Top section broke immediately upon use. Doesn't take a line sufficient enough for saltwater fishing and reels poorly.
