Sturdy, smooth design, practical, great purchase
This filing cabinet is sturdy and checks all the boxes: fits in my office, plenty of storage, aesthetically pleasing, locks, and is functional. I was impressed with this filing cabinet starting with the packaging (I'll explain everything going in order of my photos. If they get uploaded out of order, it's not terribly hard to figure out which I'm referring to).I was expecting at least a dent on this. It's heavy and you never know when buying something from Amazon how the seller is going to ship it. Upon opening the box, I wasn't worried about any dents. It's encased in thick, dense styrofoam (thankfully the kind that doesn't get all over the place!), split into two halves to cover the top and bottom of the filing cabinet (1st photo is the view when the box is opened, 2nd shows the top part of the styrofoam piece, 3rd shows the filing cabinet in the box without the top styrofoam piece). This weighs 50lbs and I had to get it up to my office on the second floor of my home and I wasn't too sure what the best way to go about that would be (I weigh 100lbs and am not very muscular). I ripped the cardboard box open at the seam and then carefully cut/ripped a side without a seam in order to access the filing cabinet (4th photo). I was pleasantly surprised the bottom was also in a thick piece of styrofoam.I took it out of the box and removed the plastic covering the top, tilted it forward with the bottom styrofoam still on so as to not dent the edges, then lifted it and brought it upstairs. I lifted it out of the bottom styrofoam piece when I got to the top of my stairs (it's a snug fit but was able to be removed by holding it between my legs as I lifted the cabinet up and out - no complaints about the snug fit, it's proper packaging) and there's some sturdy reinforcement thing in that piece (5th photo), which was also good to see.I put it in my office to the side of my desk where I initially thought I'd put it, but it looked weird there the way my office is set up. Thankfully it's very easy to slide across a hardwood floor when empty! It still requires effort, but much less than picking it back up and it didn't scratch my floor as I moved it to under my desk (6th photo). Reposition it, if you need to, before you fill it up (check to make sure the drawers won't bump into anything when fully pulled out, etc). The two keys it comes with are attached and the cabinet comes locked. Before unlocking it, I noticed slim pieces of cardboard along the openings around the drawers - again, great care was taken when this was shipped! (7th photo)8th and 9th photo show the supply tray that people have mentioned in their reviews. It doesn't slide back and forth along a railing but you can lift it out and reposition it (or put it in a different drawer - it came in the second drawer but it's more practical for me to put it in the top drawer, which I did without issue). I can live with this (and if I can't, I can always get rid of the tray). It was secured with a piece of masking tape on each side and the residue washed off of the plastic tray with soap and water. In the top drawer, there's a metal divider (10th photo) which makes a rattling noise when the drawers are being opened and closed but that'll probably quiet down when I actually put things in the drawers. I was concerned about the positioning when I tried to lift it up and it couldn't be removed, but looked at the underside of the drawer and saw the divider is held in place with a zip tie loop around each of the two little nubs that stick through the bottom, which I can easily snip off to reposition (11th photo). The bottom drawer fits letter sized hanging file folders. I'm used to seeing metal bar inserts on the left and right hand side of file cabinet drawers (or a metal divider bar) and this doesn't have any, but the inside of the drawer comes in slightly which perfectly fits hanging file folders (12th photo). It's worth mentioning the sliding mechanism for the drawers is VERY smooth.I couldn't get a good photo of this, but showed this in my video - my floor isn't level so the cabinet rocked a bit. I reached under the cabinet without lifting it up and found one of the legs, which all have the ability to level out the cabinet. I was able to twist the leg I needed to with little effort (they're large enough with a shape that makes it really easy to turn and find, your fingers aren't struggling to find a leg and to keep turning it all the way). As it touched the floor, I needed to exert slightly more effort to get it to where it wouldn't go any further, but that's normal. No more rocking around! All in all, this is a great value for the price, fantastic quality, and super practical. I'll be working from home due to the pandemic until January at the earliest, and needed this to keep my office supplies and such organized. It makes me feel more calm knowing my office supplies have a home and don't need to be in various plastic containers making it a scavenger hunt anytime I need to find something I don't keep on top of my desk.It turns out the "sturdy reinforcement piece" I mentioned earlier in the bottom part of the styrofoam is actually a box that contains wheels! Two have locking mechanisms and two do not (13th photo). I almost threw them away but heard something in the packaging and checked it out. Glad I did! Installing the wheels is a two person job unless you can lift this yourself with ease. Definitely recommend laying it on a rug or soft surface to avoid potentially scratching the cabinet. The wheels are optional, as you can see I put it in place before knowing they were included.I ordered this on September 6th, 2020 and it arrived on September 15th, 2020 via FedEx Ground. Very happy customer!

Very nice set of desk drawers
Really nice set of metal drawers - they pair with my white SecretLab computer desk perfectly (and also work with the magnetic cable managers). One minor suggestion: the adjustable pencil drawer would be better if it slid forwards and backwards instead of being inset into small holes.Arrived 1 day early, too!

Stylish and functional—great for the office!
This file cabinet is super cute and has a premium feel. The size is pretty much perfect for tucking next to a work desk, and it fits in really well with my office setup. I'm really happy with the purchase overall—just wish it was a little more affordable.

Buy nice or buy twice 10/10 recommend!
So I’m not one for spending a lot of money on things like this. BUT, this is literally a buy nice or buy twice type purchase. SUPERRRR high quality, comes already built, super heavy, I am in love!!! Fits under my desk perfectly! I was originally going to get ikea drawers, but this adds such a nice look that I love way more.

Good but expensive, heavy, and annoying lock mechanic
I do like these. I bought two. But they are not without issues. It's important to note in advance that I am a small woman with no muscles for this review. When the first one arrived, the lock was stuck. I couldn't open ANY of the drawers. I contacted support and their response was 'It's jammed. Pick it up and drop it a few times. Don't worry, you won't break it."THESE ARE INSANELY HEAVY. Why is it so heavy?! Thankfully it has wheels, otherwise I'd absolutely hate this thing when moving time inevitably rolls around. The support guy was right, though. I did as instructed (with a lot of struggling to lift this ton of a metal beast). No dents or damage, the lock came loose and it worked fine from then on. So these are certainly durable. Then - on both that I purchased - The little pencil tray in the top shelf got stuck behind the drawers. I spent a good twenty minutes struggling on EACH to get them out because I saw no easy way to remove the drawers and the space was too narrow for my (small) hands. With some persistence and cursing, I did eventually get them free.I knew about the annoying lock mechanic that only allows you to open 1 drawer at a time from the other reviews. I didn't think that would be a big deal. Boy, was I wrong. I had no idea how often out of pure habit I would try to open multiple drawers at once. Why is this even a thing? After getting past all that, my complaints are essentially the lock mechanic is dumb, the thing is way too heavy, and $200 is really expensive. If you need something to take a beating, this thing is probably a great value, but since when does a file cabinet need to take abuse? For typical office use, it's overkill. But at the same time to be fair, this product will probably last a lifetime and I imagine probably survive an entire house burning down. Minus the plastic wheels. And then you'll have to pick it up.
