Good adjustable metal, heavier duty bed frame, which is properly sprung slatted.Easy to put in pce and screw into existing wooden bed.I have purchased one of these before from the same company, only a King Sized version.They make a considerable difference in bed comfort, especially when combined with a good / decent quality mattress, compare to solid (non-sprung) bed slatts.Note there are very few companies producing this type of heavier duty adjustable and fully sprung bed frame.Therefore, I would recommend this product.

I bought this item to repair an antique French bed. The frame had become loose and I replaced it with old Vono iron rails and brackets but needed a base to bridge the gap which was standard length but wider than a standard double. The slatted bed base could be widened to fit perfectly and is strong enough to bridge and take the weight of a memory foam mattress without a centre brace . Furthermore the flex of the slats makes it a very comfortable solution. I now have an attractive looking bed with a strong up to date base. Excellent.

Very pleased with this. My only issue with it is as it is extendable there is no way of securing into place with the 2 screws provided unless you fully extend it. I have fitted this into my bed frame and it is sturdy to sleep on but willNeed to drill 2 holes to add screw/nut n bolt to ensure it stays in place. Apart from that it is a great way to replace a broken base

I have been looking for such a base for an antique 120cm bed, one strong enough to take the weight of two adults ant this is perfect. No more lying awake wondering if my guest are going to finish the night on the floor.

I bought this for my Edwardian bed, was a little scared as it was an expensive item, but boy it is just fantastic, I am so so pleased with it would recommend.
