I Love this soap so much

I am interested in the concept of medicated soaps. I guess these are specifically for skin blemishes? I looked into the ingredients because I wanted to know more about how it is useful for skin care. First, I don't think this product is vegan because it contains sodium tallowate, which is derived from animal fats (so if that matters to you I would say look elsewhere). Second, it contains sulfur which supposedly has antibiotic effects, so if your skin problems are from the skin's microbiome this soap safely removes the problematic microbes. Third, etidronate?? That was used for bone treatment, but is known to be irritating to the skin and lungs. I am not sure, but I think as far as usage, it might be best to only treat problematic areas and not use it daily. For example, if you have a bad breakout it might be a great opportunity to use this. Otherwise I'd say on the cautious side.

I should preface this review by saying that I don't normally use medicated soaps. I thought I'd try this one. It didn't overly dry out my skin. It lathered up nicely and I felt clean after using it.The smell of the soap wasn't what I usually expect for a soap. Perhaps this is normal for a medicated soap. It smells mediciney and isn't my favorite. Maybe it's there to let you know it is working.

This was a nice soap. Not drying but not moisturizing with some exfoliation. Its not gonna be my face soap but I do use it for the little spots on my arms and legs.

This soap was easy to lather and provided enough lather to easily wash the face. The soap rinsed off well, leaving the skin feeling clean. The scent of the soap is different (not necessarily bad but not what I would prefer either) and it seems to linger on your hands for a while after using.

This soap smells really good. It's not overpowering and doesn't smell to feminine or masculine. It's also a little bigger than most bars. Most premium or special soaps are 4.5 ounces. This one is 4.7, so just a little bigger, but since it has exfoliating bits in it, it probably won't last as long as a non-exfoliating bar. That said, I think it's a fair deal for a premium soap and the nice packaging makes it giftable.

Very happy with this acne cleanser and exfoliation soap. Very easy to use. Soap suds up very well. Mild scent that is not overpowering. After using my skin felt clean and looked bright and refreshed. I will continue to use to see how well the soap fights acne. No irritation after use. I would recommend!

Really great soap , noticed in just the two days that I’ve been using the soap that I look a like more radiant and alive. I’ve been looking for such a product to help even out my skin tone and this is just what I needed
