These gummies seem to really make a difference. I have a preschooler and I take these consistently to help avoid preschool viruses. They are also super tasty!

My wife and I have been working hard to stay healthy this winter. A lot of people around us have been sick, so it’s been challenging. Taking elderberry gummies with Vitamin C and zinc was helping, but then my wife went to a party and ate too much sugar. She came down with the flu the next day.Normally, elderberry supplements coat your cells and keep viruses from penetrating. Zinc keeps them from reproducing. And Vitamin C generally boosts your immune system. These gummies helped keep my wife’s nose and lungs clear for a while, but then the flu gained ground. She had to start taking something stronger.For the most part, the ingredients in these gummies are pretty good. Ascorbic acid, zinc citrate and elderberry fruit are the primary ingredients. They also contain organic tapioca syrup, raw cane sugar, water, pectin, sodium citrate, natural flavors, citric acid coconut oil and carnuba wax. I think the added sugars may have diminished the effectiveness of the gummies to boost your immune system. I’m not sure what the natural flavors involve, but the taste of these gummies is not as sour as some we have tried.The manufacturer recommends two per day. I was disappointed that they don’t recommend this product for kids under 18. So far, we’ve only found one brand that is dosed for our toddler to take. Taken at this rate, the 60 gummy bottle would last you about a month.Although Hilma is generally a good brand, I was a bit disappointed with the price. This one-month supply of supplements is going for about $25 a bottle at the time of this review. I think it should be about $5-10 less.
