Great taste but beware
Bought this to make some mango flavoured cake as me and my partner had some lovely cakes on holiday. First thing with this is when you open it just to smell, there’s an explosion but a good one, it’s smells absolutely wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the size as you don’t need a lot of it (learned that by my own mistake). The one thing i would say is it’s not 100% mango flavoured cake but you definitely taste it but a tiny aftertaste. The colour is a bit light so if you want the yellow look just add some food colouring. Overall it is not too bad, good taste quality, good size.

Strong but confusing
I've never used anything like this before. I suppose it's similar to essential oils, but for cooking. I was making a curry that required limes to be added to it, as there currently exists no unwaxed limes on the market. So I bought this, and it's good. Strong flavour. Strong scent. And the reason I think this is valuable for money is because it probably works out cheaper than buying actual limes. My only gripe with this which is a huge issue that almost ruined my curry, is the fact it has no measurements on the bottle. 1ml = 20 drops is not useful information. Other than how much it has, so roughly 300 drops. The problem is, each drop is so strong you cannot figure out what it equates to, whether it's 3 drops for a whole lime in cooking, or what. I put too many drops in, and it did make it a bit too limey. I didn't track how many drops. I just assumed like everyone else it would be a waste of money either way, and it's not. It is really strong.

Recommend
Use a small amount and taste as you go to ensure you don't overpower the recipe. Easy to use and a good flavour for indian dessert

Doesn't taste as described
I ordered hazelnut flavouring. Doesn't taste like hazelnut, tried it in a coffee, in milk and with some Greek yogurt. Tried putting less, tried putting more so it's not like I haven't used enough or too much. Tastes like soil, I'm not even exaggerating. If someone ever had a chance to taste dirt that's really similar. £8 down the drain.

Good mixing, less good taste
Mixes well into liquids. Video is plum flavouring in water. Candy floss flavouring mixes the same, but the plum is easier to see. I have also tried this type of flavouring in milk, chocolate and butter. Doesn't mix as well in butter, but still well enough to use. Great for making flavoured popcorn by adding it to the butter before popping. Haven't tried it for baking yet, but I imagine if it's put in with liquid ingredients it will go well. Flavour isn't great though. The "candy floss" tastes more like basic supermarket vanilla or caramel. It's not the light, sweet flavour I expect from candy floss. I'm not sure I'll ever find a time I want to use this to be honest. Although I guess it might be to somebody's taste. So far my experience with other flavours (plum and blueberry) isn't amazing, but is better than this. Those flavours aren't right (very fake, chemical flavours), but they are kinda nice one you accept them for what they are. The candy floss is honestly just not great to me. Still despite the less than great taste I would be open to getting more from this brand. They're a pretty decent price and do mix well. It's a gamble I might be willing to take especially with liquid friendly flavours being hard to find at times. And I think some flavours would be a safer bet than others.
