I really liked the flavor of this. It's really unique. If you really want to substitute it for coffee you kind of have to double the amount suggested for a cup of coffee alternative. So it doesn't really make this very budget-friendly. I do like the healthy ingredients. This doesn't give me the crash of coffee, it doesn't give me the energy of coffee either. This is more purely like a flavor thing than an energy thing.

I was somewhat skeptical and rarely give reviews (whether I like a product or not) but I’m ranking this is my find of the year! I’ve been looking for ways to cut back on my coffee intake but, especially in the winter, I just want a warm cup of something to enjoy throughout the day. I’ve tried other coffee substitutes in the past but they were too bitter or I couldn’t enjoy them with my favorite creamer in the same way as coffee. This drink feels like a warm hug and when I add a tiny bit of my creamer (a fraction of the amount needed in my coffee) it tasted like a warm, spiced vanilla cookie in a cup. Try it!!! For reference my creamer of choice is Silk brand Vanilla Oat Milk.

I was excited to receive this. I normally use Dandy Blend, but decided to give this a try. the first thing I realized after opening is that this is not a powder. You have to brew this. Luckily I have a coffee machine that takes pods. I have a pod you can fill yourself. Once in the pod this brews just like coffee and has a dark coffee look. I tasted it before adding anything extra and it has chicory taste. I then added my normal creamer. The taste was similar to a very light roast coffee. This is good as a change, but not very convenient. I wanted something that I could take with me while traveling and this doesn’t work like an instant coffee. If you’re ok with brewing then I would recommend. I just prefer something a little quicker that I can take anywhere without any extra steps.

The Chicory Dandelion Coffee Substitute is delicious and helped me to (finally) kick the coffee habit. For me it is a life-saver because I still get to enjoy a rich, warm cup every morning. It pairs best with oat milk and needs absolutely NO sweetener. It is my daily comfort. Try steeping a bit longer if you like a strong flavor - definitely give it a try.

When you put creamer in this, it tastes just like a cup of coffee!!! I am sooo happy to have found this!! I have GERD/Gastritis flare ups and also heart palpitations……so I can’t have coffee (acid/caffiene.) This has helped so much with my morning craving of a cup of coffee. I have tried some other coffee alternatives (crio brew, everyday dose) this one is by far the best tasting and best ingredients.
