One fish has its tail broken off, left with 2 fish.The aquarium is TINY, and was not age appropriate for my fish obsessed 1.5 year old (he wanted to hold the aquarium at all times instead of watching, and kept spilling)...Otherwise really neat product! Putting it away for when he is older!Followed instructions from other comments to put a little soap on the fish as well and the 2 fish swam around great! Fun to look at and excited to one day bring it back out.

this is too cute-I added a lil gravel at the bottom of the tank to make it look realistic...my grandson wants to know what makes the fish move around.

Super disappointed in the tank. My 2 year old loves fish and has an aquatic theme room. I thought this would be a perfect fit. After just a few days, two out of the three lights quit working and the motor for the fish stopped working. I contacted customer service and received a replacement. I got the replacement, and the same thing happened within a few days. My son was so disappointed. Made me really sad unfortunately and would not purchase again.

The mini aquarium was really cute. My 2 year old son loved it so much. We had it for less than a week and one of the lights went out (to be fair, my son had it on throughout the day). I reached out to the seller and they were very quick with responding back and super helpful. They gave me no problems replacing the aquarium with a new one. I would definitely recommend product. Great for kids with autism. Product was quite small, but it’s a cute little nightlight for my kids.

Cute product and would purchase again; if not for water leaking into the middle of the battery compartment. (Not an over-fill issue). Worked well for first few months and then a pop and then sizzling sound. Battery power depleted shortly after that. When changing batteries earlier than expected, corrosive material was found at the base of middle battery. Replaced batteries and within a few months; same problem ensued. This time I noticed a small droplet of water at the top of middle battery. (Culprit of causing battery to corrode and therefore explode). Pop sound catches you off guard if you are sitting anywhere near it. I used this product near daily. After second corrosion of battery; I've decided not to replace the batteries; but still have it filled with water. Hope this helps.

I’ve had one in my office for a couple years, it’s a great conversation price. But this is my third one. The first one lasted several months then the fish slowly stopped swimming and finally stopped. The second one the lights went out after a few months. And the third only lasted four months before the motor started rattling and it finally stopped working. This will be my last purchase and I’m done. Why do I keep buying them? There is something soothing and calming about watching them bounce around the tank. The lights are not overwhelmingly bright and work nicely as a night light. I do wish they made one a little bigger but this is an easy to handle size for everyone.

Reason why it took me long to write this review, the first one I ordered was for my daughter's Christmas present from Santa. I had it set up and everything before Christmas 2023. The instructions was to fill up with distilled water and couple drops of dish soap. I let it run a couple hours to make sure everything was swimming great. After couple days I reach out costumer support and Gabe was the one I talked to. This company was so nice and understanding about my concerns about my first tank I order from them. I told them what happened and the blower inside was blowing the fish anymore. And I explained that I know it will automatically shut off 4 hours. But it happen when I cut it on for my daughter it will stop working 10 minutes in. Since it was New Years it took some time to reach out and Gabe offer to send another one. It was so very nice and he understood. I recently received my other fish tank and it's running like it should. This company hands down is awesome and even tho it might be little to us, but for a toddler it's just as big. We love our fish tank. Very easy to set up and clean. The fish swims around like they should. Thank you so much!!!!!!! This fish tank is priceless

I found that by one-half of an hour or so, all three fish were no longer floating near the water's surface, and now will "swim" the entire area of the aquarium (different than a couple of comments). It has been operating by battery, and it is still going strong 12+ hours later, non-stop. It is made of plastic, but is fairly sturdy & stable.It is the size as described, as I wanted something small for when our new kitten stays in the "cat resort" condo enclosure while we are away. But, neither he or our eighteen-year old cat seem to be entertained. But, years ago we got a live fish tank on the recommendation of the vet for "cat TV" for that same cat, and at five years old she was not impressed then. It probably depends on the cat, as the vet's cats loved to watch the live fish. I think that our kitten wants to physically interact with toys at this point. Not a watcher, but a doer!But, I am getting a kick having it on the desk where I am working, though, as it is soothing to watch. I like the lights that enhance the effect.
