We have a 7 month corgi, and the toy ...
We have a 7 month corgi, and the toy lasted less than an hour with her before she destroyed it. She managed to break off the ears despite reviews and description saying that it was durable.

it is a favorite in our house for fetch and tugs
It's a rope toy, it's held up longer than I expected. My dogs did manage to unbraiding the head but the body and legs are still intact. Yes I have strings from it everywhere but it's to be expected with this type of rope toy, it is a favorite in our house for fetch and tugs.Edit: Sept. 22 2017- Today this toy ended its ride in our household. We have 4 dogs who tugged and pulled and even took it outside where it got rained on and baked in the sun. This toy held up longer than the others and maintained its favorite status amongst the hounds. It's just a pile of strings now in the backyard.

DANGEROUS DONT BUY!- Our 11mos.POM PUPPY ended up GAGGING & choking on the STRINGS as it FELL APART IN 12hrs from normal play!
This was one of THE WORST TOYS I e given her- I would've given it ZERO-STARS if possible. The dog began to play with it and I immediately noticed a few strings fell out & she was trying to eat them!- I took it away from her and brushed-off with my hand any "loose-strings" - but there were no LOOSE STRINGS,- THE DOG WAS ABLE TO COMPLETELY TEAR & RIP THE STRINGS APART THE WAY SPAGHETTI WOULD PEEL APART IF STUCK TO ITSELF. My dog was t even very rough with the toy?! She played with it as any dog would, there was no aggression, no foreceful "tugging-back-&-forth" with me, just normal "fetch"... but that Giraffe was a huge pile of separate strings within hours! I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS TOY AGAIN -- CERTAINLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE! WHAT A RIP OFF!

Cute, but not very sturdy
For $9 (on sale), this toy was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. (Totally my fault for not reading the description, not an issue.) It is very cute and looks exactly as pictured, but my 50 lb Border Collie mix was able to undo the weaving of the rope in about five minutes. He now has two separate giraffe halves, one of which has been completely undone and is just a knotted mass of rope. The other half is the still-somewhat-intact head and neck. I imagine this would be much better suited for a smaller dog or puppy, but my dog seems to enjoy his severed-head giraffe toy :)

I normally keep to certain brands but had thought this a perfect toy for her
So I got this toy for a small dog that is a bit crazy with toys. Within 20 mins of her playing with the toy it came apart in two pieces and several of the rope strands got torn. The two pieces are still holding up but not sure for how much longer. Fastest I have ever seen her tear up a toy. Everything about the toy was what I wanted for her, type of material (rope) and the size. I personally will keep from buying this brand of product in the future. I normally keep to certain brands but had thought this a perfect toy for her.I liked everything about the toy when I received it. The toy just didn't stand up at all.

Succeeds as entertainment, fails as toy.
Cute as it is, it is NOT suitable for the aggressive chewer. My little terrier puppy unwrapped the ropes, eliminating the cute giraffe, then unwrapped the ropes, leaving pieces of yellow string all over the carpet and a product that most resembled a raggedy floor mop. Too messy for me and too dangerous for her, it hit the trash after just a couple of days. Have to say, though, it was obviously appealing and satisfying; it couldn't have been easy to reduce it to string in so short a time.

Well woven rope toy!
I liked this toy, and so did my dog! I say did, because well, she ripped it in half in one day (Which I expected, she's a heavy chewer and LOOOOVVVEEES ropes). The thing I really love about this toy, besides the fact that it is super cute, is that even though she chewed it in half in one day, the main body and neck take forever to unravel all the way. It's very well threaded/woven/knotted. We still play with the neck a few weeks later. It's about half unraveled, which is great for throwing and playing tug (I can easily grab the unraveled end). It's not the most indestructible toy, but I definitely feel like I got my money's worth.

Pup loves it. - lasted almost 2 months
Pup loves it.Got the toy so she would stop taking my daughters plush toy. This has stopped her from "barrowing" her toys. Also my dog can plow through most dog toys in a brease. This has held up well.*********** UPDATE *************ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATERPup still loves it. Only problem is we are down to two back legs and the tail.Went from 5 star to 3 star.
