CasioMen's AEQ-100W-1BVCF Classic Analog-Digital Display Quartz Black Watch

Budget-friendly, all-purpose watch
This is a great "all-purpose" watch, especially for changing environments: dressy enough to wear to the office, and durable enough to survive working on the car, home construction projects. The chunky 3D styling is aggressive, but the blacked-out dial and analog face make it subtle enough to wear with a blazer (which I've done multiple times). The white analog hands make it easy to read the time at a glance, but the negative-LCD screens are small and hard to read unless it's at the right angle - trade off for style. It has a lot of functionality, though the menus and controls are somewhat complicated. The only feature I consistently use is the snooze alarm, which is loud enough to wake me, though not obnoxious enough to keep me awake... But it repeats enough so the realization that I need to get up sets in. The Lume on the hands is there, but only lasts for a few minutes. Water resistance is good; I've gone swimming with it a few times without issue. At this price point, the band isn't spectacular in quality or fit, but is comfortable. I have small wrists, but the watch is light weight, and doesn't look too big.

Good watch
My boyfriend loved it, it comes with a stopwatch, alarm, and timer. It has a good size and looks very good.

Good watch, nice price, doesn't fell cheap.
It's a great option for a sport watch that you can wear casually. It feels light on the wrist but once you wear it it doesn't feel bad. The only thing is that most of the time you will see the digital time instead of the analog because the claws are difficult ro read

Didn't work for me
I loved the look online, but when it arrived I realized I made a mistake. It doesn't have a stem and crown - that knob typically on the right side of the watch by the 3 that you turn to set the hands. That's apparently done via the push buttons around the face. Which leads me to issue #2 - the owner's manual. It is tiny - maybe 2 inches long by 1 inch wide, comes with 3 languages folded in half under the mounting piece that holds the watch in the box. As a result of which, the type font is miniscule. Now I'm older and my near vision isn't strong, but with reading glasses I can read most things. I actually needed a magnifying glass to read these instructions. And they've apparently packed a lot of functionality into the watch - world time, stopwatch, countdown timer, 3 daily alarms, calendar. There are probably more - I just copied from the page on the Amazon website. In any event - a lot going on there. More than I'm interested in mastering just to set the time. And it has several small digital/LCD displays that were too small and dark against the black face for me to read. And finally, the watch is huge and bulky. More like a bedside alarm clock than a wristwatch from my perspective.I wish Amazon allowed a No Rating review, since I really didn't get a chance to use the watch so I don't want to skew their rating, hence a 3, which from my perspective is a "neutral".

Great every day watch
Casio makes a very good product . Dependable accurate time pieces . This watch is just like the picture here . Might have to look a little harder to see the time only because of its' blacked out feature. Its not overly large but instead its somewhere in the middle . Has a stay put watch strap . This watch is very light. Nothing fem here , truly looks manly enough . Good everyday watch . Only wish they had thought to make its large dots slightly reflective just like the hands are . Hope their listening.
