Nutro MAX Adult Grain Free With Farm Raised Chicken Mini Chunk Dry Dog Food, 25 lbs. by Nutro

I switched my dogs from Eagle Pack to this with no problems. My dogs seem to do a lot better on a grain free food. They go absolutely crazy over this brand! I love that I can feed it to my 60 pound pit, my 35 pound Aussie, and also my 4 pound chihuahua. Kibbles are very tiny, so my chihuahua who is missing teeth has no problems with this food. Not to get gross either, but their stools are very solid on this food. I've tried almost every brand, Blue buffalo, Fromm, canidae, eagle pack, everything! Will definitely be sticking to this one!

I bought a small bag of this to try out first since my little dog prefers little kibble. Both dogs liked it so when that small bag was gone I bought the large one. The day after they ate it my little dog was extremely ill (couldn't hold her head up, drooling profusely, shaking, vomiting, and bloody diarrhea) and had to rush her to the vet. ~$300 later found out it was the food. Oddly, my mid-size dog didn't have any trouble at all, but the vet said it all depends on what kind of bacteria is already in their gut when they eat something contaminated. I've seen other reviews complain about the same illness and it's not just in small sized dogs so as a HUGE animal lover I must say be very cautious in choosing this food for a dog with a compromised immune system and/or has food sensitivities.

I researched for days, there are so many bad and dangerous dog foods out there, and found this brand to be one of the safest. I chose it for it's high marks on several dog food advisor websites and for it's price. Amazon appears to be the best place to buy it. It smells like fried chicken whenever I open the bag. I kid you not. It's no wonder my dogs love it and I feel good knowing it's good for them. The video says it all really. Surprisingly, they aren't gaining weight by this dog food, staying a nice healthy weight. We've had the dog food a month now. Their coats are getting real shiny, they aren't scratching (they used to), and they still love it like they did a month ago. I will be sticking with this brand from now on. I also bought their wet version to help me when giving them their heartworm monthly pills, and they gobbled that right up too!

My dog does not like it.She fuss about that food all the time.If I mix nutro max with other food she actually likes then she still fuss about her bowl.Generally speaking, she eats within 15 minutes I give her food. For odd reasons with nutro max, it takes much longer if not skip a whole meal because she does not want any.It does not mean your dog will not like nutro max but undortunately in my case, nutro max definitely is not my dog thing.

I have a concern about this product. News articles show that studies by the FDA link Grain-Free dog food especially the ones with potatoes, peas, and lentils may contribute to higher risks of enlarged hearts to dogs. I recently lost my 12-year-old Maltese in April 2018 due to a previously undiagnosed enlarged heart. I switched to grain-free food because I was advised by the local vet due to my Maltese chronic allergies. I need Nutro company to contact me about this please.

This is probably the best deal that I get from my Amazon Subscribe and Save. The quality of the food is excellent! It actually smells like real food! (Not that I would eat it... but for dog food it smells good.) My dogs love it and I have no intention of switching back to Iams.

Have tried EVERYTHING under the sun for my dogs. This is the only one that she can eat. Can't buy it in the Petco stores anymore and so I order online now. Please, please, PLEASE dont ever stop making. My one dog has colitis and it is the only dog food that will give her firm poop. I do add a bit of unsweetened canned pumpkin everyday...But even when I don't it agrees with her. My other dog has skin allergies. I do not use it for the grain free benefit. I use it because I have tried a TON of high dollar and medium grade dog foods. This one works best for her colitis. My dogs are rescue large breed dogs. One wolfhound mix 170lbs and the one with colitis is 125lbs flat coated retriever mix. Nervous, intelligent dog.

I have a Husky, 2-3 years old.He loves this stuff, can hardly keep him from diving into the bowl as I scoop it in.Also, he is a very healthy doggy and I find that other owners who feed their pets food with grain tend to be way lazier and less energetic then my Husky. He is mellow but has energy.I would totally recommend this dog food for anyone looking for a healthy food that their dog will like.Granted, all dogs are different, so what they like is up to them, but for healthy, imho this is the stuff.

to my excitement this product arrived earlier than expected as our anniversary dinner was THAT NIGHT. my wife however was not pleased and rather rude considering the bounty of kibble i presented to her. good product. rude wife.

If you’re like me, and not sure what “mini chunks” means, it’s more of a tiny pellet kibble.Picture shows religion adult nutro max food, the sort of wafers, the pellets is the Mini Chunks version.My German shepherds both seem to love it. So far the only food the picky eater actually enjoys!

I used to spend +$60 monthly on a 22lb bag of Grain Free Chicken Free diet for my dog, but it was starting to get costly. Our other dog was eating a cheaper chicken based dog food, and my other dog wanted that one instead, but absolutely cannot have grains. So I found this dog food and my dog loves it and the price is half the cost. We will be keeping him on this diet.

Great product. Our family dog was having allergic reactions to regular dog food, a couple days after putting him on this he stopped his incessant itching, his coat started to shine and he returned to his normal playful self. He loves the food. The only complaint I have is the smell of the food and the after product of him eating it. With that being said, it's a small price to pay for a happy and healthy dog!I put this on auto ship so I never run out!Can't give this enough praise and thanks!!

our dogs are 7 yr old Basenji mix, 8 yr old Puggel and 13 yr old miniature Dachshund, all love this food. We feed all 3 the same food and for treats they only get fresh carrotsWe just purchased our 3rd bag of this product because our dogs love it and they are healthy and active!

The tiny bites are perfect for my little dogs and even my giant german shepherd enjoys and prefers it to larger bite dog food. This was a winner product for my pets. Also, the pets digest this dog food perfectly with easy to pass - perfect stools.

I have two dashound that had skin problems and a bad smell . So I want to try grain free to see how they would do and wow! They have been on Nutto max grain free for three months and they are doing great . No more scratching and there coat is shiny and soft , plus they love it . After the first month I saw a difference and signed up for monthly home delivery and love what amazon is doing ! Fast and worry free . Thank you Nutro and amazon for making my pups and me happy !
