Looks and feels strong.
The media could not be loaded. The hole saws are well packaged and arrived safely without any damage.Came packaged in a very nice little box as you can see in the pictures above.Quality is good and looks like they'll last longer with good service. I've not had them for so long though, but looking at how well they're made, I can predict their long life/service.

Super Useful
Now, if you do a bit of DIY then it's inevitable that at some point you will need to cut some holes for items such as downlights or in wooden boards. As such you can buy the really cheap spring steel stuff for a couple of quid or aim a little higher. And then you need to decide just how much you want to empty your wallet because there comes a point of diminishing returns. Which, brought me to this set which, I got in a flash deal for about £25 - a bargain. So, it's a well presented set kept nice and tidy in it's case ideal for carrying around or on site if you are a tradesman. It covers all the sizes you are likely to need working on a house in any capacity apart from the large core drill stuff for drains through masonry.Quality is excellent. They are similar in standard to name brands tools and I don't in any way feel I have something inferior to my son's set of Makita hole cutters. They are similar in use as the Starrett originals if you have ever used them. Now, I know from experience that these bi-metal cutters will go through steel but the truth of that is that you will end up with blunt cutters pretty quickly. Now that you can get carbide tipped cutters for sensible prices I would keep these for wood and plasterwork. Maybe thin tin plate such as that used on electrical boxes. One thing to be aware of, is that if using the larger diameter hole cutters then if you have a high torque hand drill it can grab then you might find yourself with a sore wrist. My way around this is to start off in high speed so the torque is lower until I get into the cut then slow down when it's more stable.Overall, a solid value for money system that is well made and very useful.

A heavy duty hole saw kit that will last.
The media could not be loaded. TIP: stretch to buy the best drill you can then with the use of attachments like these you will be able to do anythingTIP: if your saws get stuck to your bit, keep it locked in your drill and use the spanner slots at the bottom to help you easily remove them.TIP: These saws screw onto the provided bit. The drill bits are secured by allen key. The larger saws are secured by a clever locking device which you unscrew. Tighten on saw then line up the 2 connectors with the holes of the saw and tighten.I bought this set to help me build my new kitchen. I needed to have some perfect round holes in the base unit. This set is heavy duty, the saws have a good weight to them, the teeth are sharp and they make easy work of the wood I have used them on. I have yet to try them on metal. These really are a great add on to make your drill your most important tool.I am very impressed with this set and it has saved me hours of time already. If you found my review useful please consider giving me a helpful vote and perhaps a follow for future reviews. Many thanks

Rubbish 🤬
I was absolutely made up that I found a set of bimetallic hole cutters for fitting dial gauges to the 1.5mm thick steel facia on my boat .What a load of utter rubbish !!!Being an engineer I took my time at a slow speed of 800rpm, kept the drill vertical as you should anyway , and it burnt the teeth away so badly that to let it “chew” it’s way through the last 0.2mm thickness , my 750w 240v power drill actually overheated and I had to give up !The advert specifically states for metal ... erm .... WHAT metal ???It shows a STEEL box section being cut throgh with the kit .The instructions inside the box when it arrived scared me into reading everyone else’s reviews , and others were advised ignore the instructions because they state NOT for cutting metal .One review even stated it was fine for upto 2.5mm thick metal .Not a hope in hell on a bad Friday !I’m posting this prior to going through the refund procedure in the hope that others don’t get fooled too .I feel such a fool , good tool’s don’t come cheap , but is £40 cheap these days when mass manufacturing is the norm ?Is it cheap compared to a set of non bimetallic hole hole cutters for about £8 from Amazon which are NOT intended for cutting through sheet steel ?That’s all I tried to cut after all .... 1.5mm sheet steel and it couldn’t manage half that thickness before I realised the teeth were burnt out and deforming.I leave it to you to decide but I’m disgusted .Mark Hind

You get what you pay for
Seems ok so far, I’ve used it on one job which went ok, they are all still very sharp so time will tell.

Robust, well designed, neatly boxed.
Neat retractable pins for locking saws firmly and accurately in vertical drill. Only used for hole cutting in 15mm pine so far. Gave a neat cut requiring only light sanding. Very pleased with this tool.
