Does it work? Yes! Was a bit sceptical about spending £17 on a plastic box for wet wipes but trusted the reviews and bought two. Absolutely worth it - you can feel the quality straight away and it actually works! Works perfectly, not only for the old-style plastic based wipes but also for for both the biodegradeable/plastic free but non-flushable wipes I use for make-up and, astonishingly, for the more paper-like truly flushable wipes I use for the toilet which are usually far worse for 10 coming out at once. For the toilet wipes, the next wipe doesn't conveniently lift up for the next use as you take the one above it out like the make up ones do so you have to scrabble a bit with a fingernail to pick it up but that's inherent to that type of wipe and not a failing of this product. Really High quality thick, rigid, dense and durable plastic - the type that feels almost like earthenware, melamine or bakelite. Weighty enough that you can pull out a wipe with one hand without having to hold any part of the dispenser steady. Had it for a year or so in constant daily use in the bathroom and bedroom - no sign of any cracks, distortion or wear - still looks brand new. I'm always worried about buying anything with plastic hinges but, again, no sign of them failing in any way so far and they feel very durable and sturdy. Really easy to clean, inside rarely needs cleaning and has rounded corners so is easy to wipe, outside is smooth with rounded edges and easy to wipe. The whole thing looks very stylish and the soft grey colour fits in with any colour scheme. Have been recommending these to everyone I know.

This product is amazing! The amount of times I got angry with the wipes while nappy changing, holding one wipe attached to the packet and shaking it like crazy until the one wipe will come out. (Most of the times 20 wipes will come out instead of 1) So I decided to get this wipe dispenser. Omg.. such a life changer!!! My nappy changing became much calmer and easier. You can actually take out ONE wipe at a time calmly due to the heavy metal inside the dispenser. It keeps the packet of wipes down (like your second hand). You can take the wipes out of the packet too and put it loose inside the dispenser. The dispenser is sealed so it will keep the wipes wet (it won't dry out) I manage to put inside 2 packets of 48 pampers wipes at a time (keeping them in the packet). I just take the lid off. On the picture attached there is only 1 packet inside the box. You can see there is space for another one. (I had just finished that first packet of wipes:)) I just bought another dispenser to use in a different room! A product I definitely recommend to everyone!

For years after our children stopped wearing diapers we’ve kept the colourful wet tissue box in our bathroom. Simply because it’s actually quite comfortable and hygienic to have some wipes at hand. Yet, the baby tissue box never looked pretty and was a blemish on the soft tones of our fairly stylish bathroom. The old box also started to have issues with opening and closing. So I had a look for elegant alternatives, which wasn’t too easy. The point being that there are many wet tissue boxes available in the 4 GBP to 8 GBP price range. But these come from overseas manufacturers (ensuring many weeks waiting for delivery) and seem to struggle with airtight lid closure leaving the tissues at risk of drying out. This is a very sturdy dispenser box that looks neutral, even slightly stylish. Had never heard of the Ubbi-brand before but the product is of high quality and it has many thibgs going for it. First of all, the spring-operated lid closes properly due to its weight and rubber seal around the edges. Secondly, it is a heavy box due to the type and thickness of the plastic, but also because of the internal tissue cover that acts as a weight. This is important as it ensures that the tissues can be easily taken out with one hand and that the box remains in place (it was always a struggle with our former cheap plastic box to get a single tissue out without lifting the box). To give it more stability and to prevent sliding it has rubber feet as well. Also there is a ‘window’ that shows you how many tissues are left. Lastly, it is quite spacious, I could stow three packets of wet tissues on top of each other. So I’m very pleased and would highly recommend this wipe dispenser box even though it has a price tag that is 2x to 3x as high as the cheaper alternatives. In terms of small drawbacks; it has a light grey lid, that I expected to be white (no big deal for me). Moreover, it is somewhat sizeable, I’m sure there are more nimble dispenser boxes available that hold only a single pack of wipes. But again, the size is less of an issue for us. All in all, it was a small investment but it represented an overdue upgrade of our bathroom to us.

Good product to have in your nursery for baby wipes, it helps you get the wipes out & keeps any ones dry so you don’t need to stuff the packet. I’m giving 4 stars because fits expensive for what it is

I ordered this and changed my mind, but it was too late to cancel so I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad that it was not cancelled. The wipes stay wet and I have tested it for a few weeks now. I loved the product so much that I wanted to buy several more, but Amazon did not have stocks, so I ordered elsewhere (sorry Amazon). I am a fan and usually my first stop.... the flip top just connects back without any effort. It is really sturdy and looks really nice in my house. A little expensive, but well worth the money. No problems getting out the wipes one at a time without hassle because of the weighted middle section. Thoroughly recommended and I didn’t need paying for my review...

I love this product so much that I bought 3, 2 for myself a couple of years ago & 1 for my Daughter-in-Law who's not long had a baby. I personally use these dispenser holders for antibacterial cleaning wipes & toilet wet wipes. It is made from a strong durable plastic so are extremely easy to wipe over or wash. The pads on the bottom are non slip rubber that holds in place depending on the surface. The inner hole insert section is of a good weight so holds down wipes whether its left in the original packaging or without, so allows each wipe to be pulled away quite easily. Especially with baby wipes, so there's no more trying to hold a wriggling baby changing its nappy, whilst frantically flapping the baby wipe packet about trying to pull a baby wipe out hehe. Antibacterial wipes can sometimes tend be pulled several at a time. That however is not a design fault of the dispenser but more to do with how stretchy & wet those type of wipes are now. The outer finish of the plastic & of the weighted hole insert, is kind of like a smooth but textured satin finish which I think makes it look really stylish. The box itself fits safely on top on my toilet cistern with the rubber feet holding it firmly in place. I highly recommend & will most definitely by again.

After looking everywhere for a suitable container to store flushable toilet wipes, I went for this as it was the cheapest option for a decent quality box storage box. The colouring doesn't scream baby products (which is great as my son is 18 years old) and because of the subtle logo, it sits on the shelf, by the toilet neatly, matches our colour scheme perfectly, and importantly it keeps 2 packets of wipes (with plastic outer removed) security thanks to with weighted section sitting neatly onto allowing the wipes to be dispensed one at a time. The small window in the front means you can see at a glance when the wipes are low. The lid also seems so be slightly weighted and had a soft lip all around the inner edge to seal the box, so the wipes stay 'wet'. £20 is a lot of money to be honest, but this will be easily cleanable, it's sturdy, well made, it's neat, unassuming and can sit quite discreetly in the bathroom. I like it and would definitely recommend it to others, and should the need arise, I'd happily buy another.

The weight is not heavy enough so multiple wipes come out at once. Defeats the purpose of bothering with the dispenser, be as well just leaving wipes in their packet.
