I don't usually write reviews but my 9 and 7 year old boys have literally had more fun with this toy than any other toy they have ever owned. It goes pretty fast (almost as fast as my 7 year old can run) and can go forward, backward, or spin while stopped to change direction. Pretty simple but we've had it for months and it still provides tons of fun. A few caveats: the rechargeable battery only lasts 25-30min before you have to recharge (but that is just about the right amount of time to play with it). Since it's fast, it's best for outdoor use and best for a paved surface such as an alley or paved area in a park -- it is rugged enough to go on grass (or snow) but may overturn frequently if the surface is not smooth. Other than that, it's a winner!

Okay, I got this for the son's birthday, but he ended up getting another one. This has become the one I drive and I can't get enough of it. So fun. So fast. Able to maneuver so well. I just need more practice! It lasts long enough that it's running when he gets bored and wants to move on, so that works well.My only complaint is that when you are going fast and then flip it into reverse, the car sits down. Then you have to go chase it down and put it upright again.

My 10 month old loves this truck! It is really fun to use it even without the remote control. The battery doesn’t last long and make sure to replace the screw with a better one because it got stripped after some uses, since the battery needs to be charged frequently.

Bought this for my 5 year old son and he's been loving it.The car has great torque that can run smoothly on grass, inclines, dirt and etc. It also runs in water which made my child really happy when we actually tried it.The car is very well built where we've taken it to parks to do some off-roading on rocky landscapes and it took all the beating and still runs perfect.One problem we had was that it's hard to keep a 5 year old from dropping the remote control into the water when running the RC in our little pool and hence the remote died (only the car is water-proof). We contacted the company to purchase an additional remote but they just sent us a new set free of charge.We would often get inquiries from other parents when we bring this toy to the park and have friends also buying one for their kids after seeing ours.

Fun little RC car! Moves moderately fast. Rolls through the elements with ease. Battery has long charge. Great traversing water! Quality is good. It's heavy for its size and feels strong and sturdy. Can drive out pretty far.Drives a bit clumsy. Front wheels do not have traditional swaying wheels, but has differentiating wheels. Making narrow turns requires a little skill. If it tips over, it'll need rescuing.It's a good RC car! Great for kids 8 and over.

This remote control monster truck was a hit with our 5-year-old grandson! We gave it to him for his birthday and he loves it! He has run it through a shallow creek and it kept on driving! It is fast! We weren't sure if he would be able to figure out the remote control but he figured it out quickly! Highly recommend. It is worth the price.
