Good, compact size for camping etc. Very well made with clever storage of the utensils it comes with. Fixed handle and hinges, so the wrong item for my purpose.

Really good but wish it was a bit deeper

Versatile easy cook utensil

We have a micro camper and thought we would try this to have toasted sandwiches when out and about. Ham and Cheese sandwich pre prepared we got out the camping stove. Placed the sandwich in and put it on the heat. With in two minutes one side had burned. That's totally my fault as had the flame full on as I thought it would take a while to heat up!. Was I wrong this thing is amazing!. Turned the heating down and keep an eye on it,turning often is the key as it heats the sandwich through.Turns a somewhat bland sandwich into something a little special!. Looking forward to trying out different fillings!.

Loved the simplicity of this . So easy to make toasted sandwiches on an open fire or gas ring easy to clean. This little gem is coming on All our camping trips. Love it.

Had too cut down slices of bread as they were to big. Have to buy different bread when I want to use it. But appart from that it's all good

Bought this for our camping trips but since our smoke alarm has become like an anxious teen - roaring into screaming panic when I boil potatoes - I can’t use the toaster so I upgraded the ridge monkey to indoor daily use. I flipping flapping love it!! I cook everything I can in it (since my family has tired of my endless toasties menu) and it’s just awesome. The fave being home made naan bread.It is obvious great for camping too but I would have it as my life partner but I live rurally and I don’t want to headline the parish newsletter.

Use this at home, in the house and garden ad in the campervan. Wish I had purchased the larger size. Brilliant for toasted sandwiches, eggs anyway, bacon (no splattering when cooked in frying pan), sausages. Definitely will buy a larger one and also the pan sized one.

ich habe mir den Sandwichtoaster fürs Wohnmobil gekauft, weil er recht leicht ist. Früher hatte ich sowas aus massivem Eisen, das wäre zu schwer. Aber auch mit dem "RidgeMonkey" kann ich sehr gut Sandwiches herstellen. Der Innenraum ist recht groß, was einerseits von Vorteil ist (großer Sandwichtoast passt locker rein), aber die Ränder werden nicht (wie mit dem Eisen) zusammengedrückt und mit Käse verschweißt. Macht aber nichts.Die Beschichtung ist natürlich bei der ersten Benutzung sehr gut; nichts haftet an. Falls sich das nach kurzer Zeit ändern sollte, werde ich zwei Sterne abziehen müssen.Natürlich sollte man die Außenseiten der Toastscheiben mit Butter bestreichen.Das Gerät ist auch sehr handlich und lässt sich leicht spülen.Ich freue mich darauf, im WoMo jetzt auch leckere Sandwiches herstellen zu können.
