Excellent doorknob but found it a bit tricky to fit
We bought this to replace a similar crystal doorknob that had broken. The new doorknob arrived quickly, well-packaged and is excellent quality (better than old one in fact). However, we did find it quite tricky to fit.The doorknob kit arrives with a full latch mechanism and strike plate - which is great. However the instructions are a bit limited (which isn’t unusual!). The doorknob plates are held in place by two cartridge screws. These have to go through the door and can only be screwed into place from one side. That would be fine but the screw heads are quite inaccessible because of the crystal knob itself. The grub screws were also a bit too long (so we had to use our own) and the mechanism is slightly stiff (although we managed to improve it with some WD40).I should say that seller was very quick to contact us re installation issues (so full credit to them).In short, a very nice quality crystal doorknob that requires some patience and persistence in fitting - worth the effort though!

The most beautiful knobs
These really are the most beautiful door knobs I've had. Really easy to fit but agree a 25mm spade needed just on the outside to ensure they sit flat and no strain on mechanism. Just need to save up now to do my other seven doors!!
