Can this be sterilized? If so, how?

I don't recommend serializing this. I sterilized it in my Dr. Browns sterilizer and it shrank so much the lid wouldn't spin correctly.

Can this go in the dish washer?

Yes. I put it in the top rack to be on the safe side.

how long is the formula good for inside this dispenser?

I kept one in my diaper bag and we don’t go out often. I would put a little piece of washi tape or masking tape on the bottom with the date you put the formula in, if it’s not used at least weekly so you remember when you filled it up1 - then follow the guidelines on the formula container. Approx a month. However, I have quite a few of these, because I have more than one diaperbag and i went to her pool bag diaper bag that I hadn’t used in a long time, and it was and will get hard and clumpy If left in to long. Not suggesting to wait that long, but if it’s funky you will know. Just follow the instructions telling you how long the can of formula can be used once opened.

Is this caddy short or long? Same question about spout too?

Its squat, wider than tall. The spout it very short. It is barely a spout.
