I'm a member of 2 camera clubs and purchased this in advance as one of the clubs was doing a photo shoot with 2 models as a learning exercise. Used this flash and it worked superbly although it was initially confusing to setup plus the manual is useless. More help on YoutubeIt wasn't used then for 3 weeks and went to another photoshoot, this time the flash worked a couple of times then just kept beeping everytime I tried to take a shot. My photo colleagues took a look and couldn't understand why it refused to fire. Reset it back to the factory settings and tried again. It worked for a few shots then got the same problem. Just kept beeping, if the test button to fire the flash refused, kept beeping.Contacted the supplier who have said that a replacement is on its way. Two weeks ago I purchased the Neewer Trigger to use it with the flash, mounted it on the hotshoe and tilted my camera back and it fell off. The locking mechanism just does not engage. In order to engage the lock I have to forcefully push and wiggle it into play, am not doing this as I don't want to break the camera. The flash simply push on and engage and it doesn't move. Something not right with the triggerHave just returned the trigger back to Amazon, I don't want to be left with a flash that I can't use remotely. Am contemplating sending the flash back and ordering the Godox modelsUpdate 08/04/2023The new replacement arrived and was tested successfully, faulty one returned today and copy of the receipt sent.They were very quick in responding and dealing with the issue, superb service. Have increased the star to 4 for having fantastic support etc.If anyone knows why the flash wouldn't fire whether it be on or off the camera would like to knowUpdate 13/05/20232 weeks ago the company sent me a new Flash and updated Trigger, there was a slight issue with the Canon 77D hot shoe. The new trigger sits on my camera perfectly, the flash now works flawlessly, have used it several times from taking photos of owls to some Still Life photography for an upcoming competitionMy gratitude goes out to Neewer for their help with the issues I had, couldn't fault their customer service as they dealt with all the issues. Nice, works well used it for the first time to do portraits of people (pairs and groups) entering a charity ball.Only down side I kept changing modes without realising then struggled to change to correct/ preferred setting. The manual that came with package had very small fonts I had to use magnifying glass then couldn’t understand what I was reading!!

You know what to expect from a Neewer product and this flash unit doesn't disappoint. It comes with a battery, charger and even power supply for the charger. The pouch it comes in is good quality. The unit fits to the camera securely and does not wobble. The set up is simple and it syncs straight away. It also comes with instructions. The screen is bright and clear. The recycling time inbetween flashes is very short. The light from the unit is powerful but soft, lighting the area with a nice defused light. The battery life is amazing. Great product.

I bought this as it's alot cheaper than the godox v1 and it was even cheaper with the extra discount ,its a fantastic bit of kit out from 1/1 down 1/256 power and a rechargeable battery which gives 480 flashes on full power so a lot more if you only use the lower power settings plus it has a handy modelling light 😀

Excellent product. Powerful and full of great features. Used so far on camera, off camera, as a master to other flash units and as a slave within a group.

Brilliant product

The media could not be loaded. I put a video up of this attached to a Canon 6D to give you an idea of scale. This is a large flash unit commensurate with the quality it produces . It comes with a lithium iron battery and charger ( it charges super quick) which lasts a long time . It’s super easy to attach and remove from the camera hot shoe with a circular motion that secures it rather than many units that need 5 or 6 turns before they are tight. Works as a slave and master unit and I found it super useful as a slave unit mounted on a tripod angled at the subject . Build quality is robust and all in all everything is excellent about this unit . It’s not cheap but as with all Neweer products I have used it actually out performs it’s price tag by some margin. All in all very happy.

Disappointed with the build quality. I've had the hot shoe mount break on me mid shoot. Thankfully I was able to get a replacement sent from Neewer and now it works but it cost me over a month of waiting. I bought this when it was first added to Amazon and now I feel a bit scammed as it was "on sale" and thought I was getting a good deal but now you can get it cheaper than I did, but that's on me. If I could go back I'd get the godox v1 instead and get through updated hotshoe mount for it, that's a tank. This is now a backup flash or for use on a tripod for fill
