go with the 40 foot!
Feels like a quality rope. If you think you only want a 30 foot, I'd recommend going with a 40 foot and wrapping it once or twice around what ever you anchor it on. For my needs 30 feet rope too small, and my clients agree. The rope isn't as smooth for double slams and alternating slams with the shorter rope. I should have returned it for a 40 foot but we couldn't wait to use it. : ). We have made it work in our facility but again I'd order the 40 foot next time.
