The set of geode (1/4 sized cuts) that I received is beautiful, although very small. I’m using it to display a DVD set, so the small size is passable for this use. Seems to be the luck of the draw if you want to receive a larger set of the “1-3 pounds” as described to hold up books. The teal color is very attractikve.

I think they're pretty neat!
I love geodes and agate and all that. And so I decided to get these Agate Book Ends to hold my recipe binders on the counter in the kitchen. I get to see them far more often in the kitchen than I would in other parts of the house. They arrived quickly, well packaged, in excellent condition and ready to work. They do fall within the described weight range of 6-9 lbs., and for that reason will function as well as they look. You can see that they've been dyed. And I suspect that if I handle them much, the dye would probably wind up on my hands. But I'm not doing that. They're just sitting there holding books up just like I wanted them to. I think they're pretty neat.

Not as pictured
These are two small, dyed, polished halves of a geode. The dye is pretty obvious and there isn’t a white crystal center like in the photo. They’re cooler than a regular bookend so I’ll give them that, but when I’m ready to upgrade I think I’m going to go to a more reputable seller.

Exactly as advertised
When purchasing geodes you can get a disappointing varying of color but these look as amazing as the pictures

Beautiful but small
These are small but also beautiful. I was given a different brand as a birthday gift and they came broken and terribly dyed and I had to return them. While smaller than the set originally sent to me these are beautiful and also are not covered in pink dye powder like some are.

These were a gift. They looked and worked as expected.4 stars only because one of them had a large crack in them that might, someday, crack further. The crack was not bad enough to send back because its a rock and rocks have cracks. No biggie.
