I have a small garden and electric mower burnt out. Have tried push along in the past, not impressed - until now! This is really good, easy to use and push and simple grass collection. Gives a lovely finish if you grass is not left to grow too long and is not too wet. Proper finish to the lawn, as this is a cylinder that gives superior finish. I’d buy another.

Just used for first time - assembly of main body is easy enough. No assembly instructions for the grass collector though so you have to figure the rod insert yourself (very fiddly). Cuts well - I have slightly sloping ground so need to do the forward-back forward-back motions.

Einhell GE-HM 38 S-F Hand Push Lawn Mower: Bought this mower to replace an 1,800W mower from a well-known green branded manufacturer which burnt out after a measly ~20 uses. This thing runs circles around it, no plastic in the workings like our burnt-out one, and because it's not carrying around a power-house motor it weighs very little, so I don't find it harder to push around than the big mower we had before. I set it to the max height (38mm) for the bugs and because I don't need to golf on my lawn. The birds and bees don't mind it either because there's so little noise and no smell like my neighbour's awful petrol mower, I had the local robin watching me mow on the fence recently. It is harder to push around on taller grass, so I recommend mowing weekly or you're going to have to put your back into it (or use an edge-trimmer to bring down really tall grass first). I don't use the grass catch, just let it all fall and replenish. I mostly mow one-handed with this thing, and afterwards I just wipe it clean with a wet soapy rag and apply blade oil to the blades (with gardening gloves on) to keep everything rust free. It also looks the part, solidly built, mean-looking when spinning at speed, and makes quick work of difficult-to-reach areas where I had power cables to contend with before. I do patches in different directions to ensure it's properly cut down, and push and pull quick succession to keep the blades spinning up at speed as I go, otherwise it's not effective. It can't handle twigs and piles of leaves, so requires some lawn clearing beforehand. Also, this item takes some explaining to the neighbours, like owning an electric car or meeting your spouse on an online dating app, but you'll get over it. Lovely product, I won't be going back to plastic electric mowers again.

So far I’m really impressed with this lawnmower. I had bought it because I’m concerned with storage space and wanted something cheap. This seemed to meet both of those requirements. The instructions were pretty confusing but the handle only consisted of a handful of parts so was easy to assemble, no tools required, less than 5 minutes tightening a few screws. I decided not to use the grass collector, other reviews mentioned it falls apart, for this price you’re not going to find anything with a solid collector. The collector is also unnecessary, standing upright with no collector my mower takes almost no space, pushing it without one is easier and I let the grass mulch which is arguably better for the lawn. One difficulty I had though was the first springtime cut, I had let the grass grow to 15cm. The mower did a great job pushing back and forth but it was time consuming. Subsequent trims every fortnight now take no time at all. I zoom up and down the garden, no need to empty a collector, no flipping a wire on every length or connecting a power plug. It feels safer. Honestly it’s really not often a device makes me smile but I like this one, really wish I’d found it sooner. Simpler is better.

Basically the mower its self works well and is easy to use but we are missing the black metal arm that attaches the grass box to the mower - also there are no instructions in the box. I can't send it back as I need to mow my new tenants lawn asap also the contact details both of the website and telephone do not work. Also after reading the reviews it looks as if the grass box is a waste of time any way. Slightly cross especially as the box turned up damaged. If the manufacturer bothers to read this review please send me the missing part.

My favourite Amazon purchase ever! Purchased in 2019...its now 2024. Gives me joy every time I use it, requires a little effort to push and pull, providing grass is less than 5 inches. Blade is as sharp as the day I bought it. The mower is quality engineered and precise. Feel a little bit closer and physically connected to my garden than if I had asked the grid to use the grid to do it. My garden is relatively small maybe 22ft squared I might feel less smug if I had a much bigger garden.

I have a large ish lawn (about half a tennis court) and have both the Bosch push mower and this mower. They both have a very similar finish which looks much better than that provided by my old petrol mower. The Bosch is easier to push (my eight year old can manage it with ease) but is hopeless at picking up the grass. The einhell is more difficult to push (It’s a good workout for my arms and the eight year old has no chance) but Is far superior at collecting the grass. The einhell is quieter. If I didn’t have dogs or kids I’d go with the Bosch but the einhell is the best choice to avoid grass being brought into the house. If your contemplating one as an alternative to a petrol or electric mower I’d highly recommend either. You’d be amazed by how much time and effort you save not messing with a heavy mower even on a fairly large lawn.

Absolutely love this mower. Quiet sharp and easy to assemble and disassemble in minutes. Light easy to push although the grass collector is a little small and bounces around resulting in knocking the cuttings out. Its still a fantastic mower for small to medium gardens and cuts crisp and clean

Facile à utiliser et performante. Plusieurs hauteurs pour la coupe est prévue . Je n’utilise pas le bac car il se remplit trop vite . Super pour tondre entre deux . On évite l’essence ou électricité. Très écologique . Cela fait un bonne séance de sport ! Je recommande.

Ich habe 800Quadratmeter garten, mit viel Wildwuchs, Efeu, Brombeeren, Glycinien, Brennesseln, Unkraut. Leider kein Strom verfügbar. Hatte also vor Jahren für fast 300Euro einen Benzinrasenmäher gekauft der nach ca 1/2Jahr kaputt war. Das riesige schwere dreckige Monster ins Auto zu stecken zum Umtausch bei Aldi??? War mir zu umständlich. Eine Motorsense hatte ich danach, laut schwer und auch hier wenn der Motor kaputtgeht habe ich keine Ahnung was zu tun. Danach ein paar Jahre mit der Handsense gemäht. Das ist irre Kraftraubend und geht auch nur gut wenn die Wiese sehr hoch steht. Wieso habe ich erst jetzt Spindelmäher entdeckt??? Platzsparend, herrlich leise( ich mag keine Geräusche, weil ich berufsbedingt davon zu viele habe) und leichtgängig, sogar am Hang funktioniert es gut! Und ich brauche keinen Brennstoff! Mein Garten sah noch nie so gepflegt aus!!! Ich bin megahappy mit dem Teil! Auch nach lesen der Anleitung verstehe ich die Komplette funktionsweise und kann so reparieren falls etwas kaputt gehen sollte. Das Teil lässt sich sich leicht rumtragen, passt gut ins Auto und ist wendig. Das Gegenmesser habe ich wie in der Anleitung beschrieben so eingestellt dass es ein blatt Papier auf voller Breite zerschneidet. Macht einen wertigen Eindruck wobei der Grasfangkorb ein Witz ist, den habe ich gleich weggelassen. Der Mäher macht alles so klein dass man es als Mulch liegenlassen kann. Selbst Efeubewuchs wird gemäht. Nur bei Stöckchen blockiert er manchmal die muss man halt aus dem Rasen räumen. Na wenigstens ist das Gras jetzt so kurz dass ich die Stöckchen auch sehen kann :). Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nix sagen, kommt später.

Maait licht en goed het gras. Heeft geen last van oneffenheden. Enige nadeel is dat de opvangzak niet blijft zitten. Waarschijnlijk wel te verhelpen met tie-ribs.

Como bien dice el titulo de la reseña es un cortador de césped para mantenerlo así forma continua. Tengo un jardín de unos 50 m2 no me lleva mas de 5 minutos mantenerlo, lo bueno que el resto no hace falta ni juntarlo sirve de abono y de cama. He leído reseñas de que se hace mucha fuerza para cortar, y sí, es cierto si dejas que crezca mucho, si lo mantienes es una pasada lo bien que va y lo rapido que lo haces. De hecho la bolsa de recogida cuando tienes el cesped largo hace que se atasque y fuerces más. Es así que la valoración va para este tipo de cortacesped. En concreto con este de heinhell nada que reprochar, veremos a largo plazo como se oxidan los materiales y desafilan las cuchillas. De momento buena construcción y por el precio (comprado de segunda mano prácticamente a mitad de precio) muy recomendable. He de decir que al comprarlo de segunda mano me vino prácticamente nuevo. Habrá tenido un solo uso de alguien que haya cortado el cesped largo y entiendo que no es lo que busque. Para mí ha sido un autentico acierto y chollo. Un saludo!

Sono stata piacevolmente sorpresa da questo articolo. Facile da montare, facile e maneggevole da usare anche per me che sono una donna non proprio fortissima.... niente cavi elettrici, niente batteria, niente miscela.... basta spingere e via!!! Tagli quanto ti pare!!! Avevo letto che non andava bene per l erba alta... bhe... certo lì ci sono dovuta passare più volte, ma è andata alla grande!!! Mi sono innamorata di questo articolo che ha risolto i miei problemi con l erba naturale del mio immenso giardino! E parlo di 300 metri quadri!!!! Più sentiero!!!! Promosso a pieni voti, ora dovrò testare la durata e capire come regolare il taglio.
