Meh. They're OK.
I did buy these myself. A lot of reviews seem to be from people who received them discounted.OK, so I bought these hoping to replace my bulky "non spill" cups. After reading the reviews, I was confident. However, after using them for a month, now, i'm still on the lookout for THE solution. I'll keep these around because they have their uses. But, they aren't what I had hoped for.First, I'll be honest, they're a bit fiddly to fit. It's fine, not a huge deal. But, worth noting that it can be quite faffy. My husband wouldn't do it for a couple weeks, for fear of spilling the cup he's fitting it to! A few near disasters, but overall we managed just fine. The biggest problem is that my 18 month old sticks his finger in the hole. There are 2 openings that don't allow liquid out (I've tested, they definitely are spill proof) but do allow a little poky finger in. And if I don't stop him immediately, he'll rip it open easily. So, he can't use them unsupervised. Which, was the main purpose of buying these. They're fine for eating at the table, but he can't take them out unsupervised because of this. I'll add, he figured this out the first time he drank from it.Basically, they're great for popping on the top of a cup to avoid breakfast/lunch/dinner spills at the table or for times the older ones want to take a drink running about or in the car or whatever (my kids are 18 months, 4 and 6) as they're not so babyish. But, are they the solution to end all the bulky mess of unsatisfying bulky "non spill" cups cluttering up my cupboard? No.

I think these are a brilliant creation.
I think these are a brilliant creation ... but unfortunately only 1 lid in my pack actually worked ... the other 2 were leaking from the vent before I even gave them to m children :( very gutted as I was hoping these would be the answer to my problems of my autistic son pouring drinks everywhere ... its something suitable for all of my children so would of saved the 'I want that one' argument ... but no ... instead he found it absolutely hilarious that my signing 'stop' to him when he tips his bottles upside down backfired ... then proceeded to tell ME stop instead and hasn't quit since ... round 1 to him I believe n I wont live it down any time soon lol

Another kids product that didn’t meet expectations
I was so excited about receiving the order because in theory - these could mean that I lose the dozens of sippy cups , non spill 360 beakers , trainer cups , things with straws that are a nightmare to clean and get fought over ; and replace with a few IKEA beakers .The reality - they form such a tight seal that they create a vacuum so toddler finds it harder to get liquid out and you have to keep loosening. And doing that usually means you spill something on the fabric sofa that was a massive mistake with a pair of toddlers. Getting the lid on a full cup is an art form in itself and requires time and patience . I have neither .I’m an optimist so have put in the changing bag in the hope they’ll come into their own at some point

Great product but 1 of 3 pack was damaged
Seem like they are a really good idea. Unfortunately in the pack, 1 of the lids had stuck to itself and if I pull it apart it is going to tear. Not sending them back as the other 2 work perfectly (just now quite pricey for 2!!). Easy to use but make sure you concentrate or the drink could end up everywhere.

Mums beware!
The product description states these lids are FDA approved, BPA and Phthalates-free, what I always look for when shopping for my little one especially for products that comes in direct contact with food.On first using these lids I was horrified by the strong plastic smell, which is really unusual for silicon products. I wanted to double check the packaging to ensure the product description on Amazon page was accurate, I was surprised to find NO where in the packaging there is any information on product material, No mention that it's FDA approved or BPA and Phthalates-free, No country of origin, not even the company name that is selling this product!!!I am definitely returning these, and do not want it anywhere near my little one's mouth!

A great idea that actually works
Unlike some of the other reviewers, I did not receive these items free in return for an unbiased review - more's the pity - but I'm giving them 5 stars as I think they're brilliant. You have to be a bit careful stretching them over a full cup to avoid pinging the cup and spilling it all, but I've tried these out today over a few plastic cups of different sizes and they've fitted each one, no spills. My 19-month-old has drunk her water, juice and milk using them today with no issues. I'm going to keep one in my bag for when we're out and about. Hope they are long-lasting as they'll be getting plenty of use here.

The best baby product
These are honestly the best baby purchase I have made. They wash really well with no stains. The best bit is that you can turn them inside out to easily get rid of 4 day milk when you find them under the sofa or in the car. Much better than trying to clean ridged plastic spouts. They do leak if pressed down. On something so try not to sit on them on the couch, hidden under a pillow, because you will end up with a wet bottom. I always have one in my handbag incase we end up eating out and I am unprepared (most of my life).
