This thing is tiny. You would need some sanding tools and glue to put this together or else the drawers will fall apart. You can probably spend 50 bucks or cheaper at walmart on an actual cabinet that would hold more stuff. This is just for the esthetic. Flimsy piece of wood too. You could break it if you re not careful.

If you are a crafter, you should be able to build this easily. The pieces fit snugly and perfectly. I’ve seen others photos of bulging dovetails, but I didn’t have any issues like that. I did use my little module making hammer to gently move pieces into place; perhaps the advice is to build it like a model, not a bookshelf. I chose to paint the drawer fronts and the look is great.

For $50, this is insanely overpriced. It’s not made of wood, they say MDF, but it’s really just bonded paper. You can see the edges where during assembly, it basically just crumbles apart.This also arrives I assembled, which I guess is okay, but assembly takes the better part of two hours and requires multiple phases of glueing.End of the day, this is $50 worth of bonded paper, with difficult and long assembly with an end product that works worse than a $12 plastic bin. Don’t waste your money on this.

Since i am getting more hobby tools for my Gunpla and i need a rack and drawers to fit everything so i decided to get the GK1 and GK2.Surprisingly, all my tools fit in well in GK1 rack and i don’t need to waste my time to think where did i stored my tools when i needed urgently.Also, the quality of the rack/wood is so so so good and strong. Based on the GK2 manual, i should apply glue on the drawers, but i didn’t and the drawers are still holding.Strongly and highly recommend this combo to Gunpla or plastic model kits builders!!
