These knives are superb. Very sharp and made in Japan from stainless steel (masters in producing samurai swords). This set contains all the basic knives you will need to get you started and a ceramic knive sharpener to keep your knives in tip top condition. Treat them with respect, no putting them in the dishwasher, hand wash only, dry thoroughly and return them to their holder and these knives will serve their purpose for many years.

Arrived with two knives missing. Good price however and high quality. Ordered replacement knives. The block looks great in my kitchen and the knives are wonderful to use.

These really are fantastic quality knives, the edges are incredibly sharp and retain that edge for a long period.They are well balanced in the hand, comfortable and a joy to use. They are expensive but an investment if you want a knife built to last, I can see these being around as long as me!Things to consider are they are not to be put in a dishwasher and they require a specialist sharpener if you are not experienced with the supplied sharpening steel.

Top quality knives from the best brand (in my opinion). Good selection for almost any task in the kitchen. Block looks good and has plenty of space to add to collection. Black Friday deal so less than half price. Global are the only brand I buy as quality is second to none, razor sharp edge, perfectly weighted, single piece so no nooks for bacteria to linger and comfortable to hold.

Delighted. Best price anywhere on the Web, including Global's own on-line store. Great set of knives and only two that will hardly ever be used. Palette knife is a little too bendy for my preference and the Ham boning knife is something I would not ordinarily use (though it seems to work well as a bread knife).

These are always going to expensive, but these five are really almost households need excellent knives. You can always add more.

Hi I can’t find a way to contact you as my return end date was the 31st January. I’d just like to say the knives are fantastic no problems at all but I’m really disappointed in the stand. It has scratched all the knives and after spending £600+ on these knives I’m really not the happiest!
