Easy to Print and Very Strong
I have been printing standard PLA for awhile and wanted to expand my horizons by tryingdifferent materials. I saw this Carbon Fiber PLA and thought it would be an interesting trial. I printed the tool holder in the photos with my normal PLA settings (20mm/sec first layer, 45 for perimeters, 55 for infill, and 35 for solid layers) on a machine with a direct drive extruder and all metal hotend.Layer height was 0.2mm with a 0.4mm nozzle and an extrusion width of 0.5mm. I also sliced it with 2 perimeters, 3 bottom layers, 4 top layers, and 10% infill. The bed temperature I used was 50C for the first layer and 45C for the rest on a borosilicate glass plate with an application of glue stick. Bed adhesion was excellent without needing to try too hard to remove the finished print. See the photos for a look at how great the first layer lays down. For the extruder I used 240C which would normally be very high but I first tried printing with a hardened steel nozzle that requires more heat for the poorer thermal conductivity. The steel nozzle wouldn't print, but it wasn't the filament, the nozzle was junk. After switching back to a brass nozzle, the filament printed beautifully, just like a normal high quality PLA. The finish is a very flat black due to the Carbon Fiber, almost a gray to my eye, and the look and finish seem almost industrial, which suits me just fine. I did some very unscientific testing (attempting to bend and twist the print with bare hands) and the material seems much stiffer than normal PLA, and it takes a lot of force to break something printed with the Carbon Fiber PLA. While it may not be as flexible or temperature resistant as a reinforced Nylon, it is much more forgiving when it comes to printing, storage, and damage to your wallet! I will definitely be adding this to my stocked materials to use anytime I need a part that requires some structural integrity.

Shockingly easy to use, smooth and shiny
For being pla+, I expected some need for dialing it in some, and a bit of difficulty with bed adhesion. I'm couldn't have been more wrong. It's important to note that I'm using an Ender 3 V2 with a PEI bed, cr touch module, upgraded hardware and using custom firmware (the "Professional" cfw), so I don't run into too much issue with anything hardware or calibration side. However, without any sort of changes to my normal procedure of using PLA, I got amazing results. The filament has the shine that it's reported and pictured as having. The color is vibrant, and the material has a decent amount of flex before hitting the point of snapping. The 10 pack gives me plenty of material to make toys for my 5 year old and his Pre-K classmates, as well as my professional uses in repair, custom parts for my personally built guitars/basses, and requests for articulated fishing lures.I've had no print errors as a result of filament issues, even when pushing the material to the limits of the stock hotend extruder. So I'm able to crank the speed on draft/test prints, without wasting time or material on bad prints.I've definitely found my go to manufacturer for filament, and I feel that they offer an affordable and quality product.

Easy and smooth printing with no hassle.
This filament offers excellent layer adhesion and minimal warping, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned makers. The filament’s consistent diameter ensures smooth feeding and reduces the risk of clogs, resulting in high-quality prints with sharp details. I just through it in the Bambu Lab AMS and loaded it via the default Sunlu PLA profile. Didn't have to change a thing. Printed so easily and the color is awesome! Bought another roll and delivered exceptional results back-to-back. My second roll was a bit temperamental at first, so I dried it out in my Sunlu S4, and then went back to awesome results. Easy!

NOT neatly wound
this is first time I bought SUNLU PLA filament, only reason is because the brand I usually used is not available in clear/transparent. The filament itself printed fine, but the spool winding was horrible, it continuedly get stuck during printing. May try another brand next time when I need a clear/transparent filament.

Always reliable!
There’s literally nothing I dislike about the way these Sunlu filaments are spooled, packaged, and how they print. I use quite a bit of filament for my business and Sunlu has been my go to brand for the most part. Very consistent, high quality filament!
