We tried this product when our daughter got lice in November but we still found nits in her hair a few days later after hours of combing a day (2 hours the first few days and 1+ hours in subsequent days). Unless you can remove 100% of the nits, this product will not be effective. We wound up going to a professional to get rid of the lice that used a different active ingredient and device for drying nits before removal.
