I'm very glad this works. Just make sure you check that your specific computer is in this product's list. I will say one thing that did make me nervous at first: the "grip" or "fit" of the plug in my computer is looser/wobblier than the adapter that actually came with my computer. My old one's wires were popping out though, so I had to get this. I've had no issues with it, it's just something that I noticed.
