Neither was it mentioned anywhere (or not prominently enough anyway), nor was the accompanying picture clearly reflective of the major difference in size between the origina battery, and this one!! The change necessitates removal of the original back-cover, which is replaced with a cover supplied with the battery. Now unfortunately this replacement is too cheap and ill-fitting, and I am sure there is no better replacement available in the market also!! And means I can no longer use a flip cover either, which somehow is very important for me to have on the phone!!Which means I would never have bought this battery if I knew what all it entailed!! A good aftermarket battery with the same outside dimensions is what I was looking for!!!

Battery good cover bad
Battery is ok I knew it would be bulky but it is unusable because of the crappy cover won't stay on.

powerful battery
This has allowed me to only charge my cell phone once every 2 days even with heavy usage, however the larger battery does lead to easier overheating so you have to be careful when charging to have airflow around it and cheap chargers will not convert enough power to charge this battery.
