Quality Rechargeable Lithium D Batteries
I've used lithium rechargeable batteries for nearly 10 years now and over time, they just keep improving. However, if anyone thinks that this battery chemistry (vs the alkaline brothers) are comparable, you'd be sorely mistaken. These lithium versions simply do not hold the same saturation of charge, or duration of discharge as an alkaline battery. However, you can't recharge an alkaline battery, so the point here is not achieving comparable battery capacity, it's about the ability to charge it right back up, for pennies, rather than having to buy and replace the entire battery. Perhaps this saturation of charge will become a moot point in the coming years, presuming improved battery chemistry are developed but until then, this is what you get and for us, it's a welcome trade off. I'd much rather pull out a battery like this and recharge it in an hour and pop it back in, so my child can go play with their old-school battery-operated toy, than continue to waste our money replacing alkaline batteries, even if they do last a bit longer initially. Anyhow, these D batteries have already paid for themselves, in our household and will continue to make us money, so to speak, for years to come, as they can be recharged an incredible amount of time before even beginning to diminish output. This is the same reason that I build li-ion 18650 battery packs using recycled batteries from scooters, laptops, etc, as they almost always hardly lose capacity, despite some of them being more than 10 years old before I get my hands on them. As internal resistance increases with time and use, the storage and discharge capacity will dwindle slightly but the batteries themselves, will continue to serve me well for many years to come. It's a beautiful thing, imo. Anyhow, thus far, I highly recommend these batteries. If however, over time, if they ever fail or become problematic, I will certainly update this review accordingly. Until then, enjoy!

Excellent value and convenience.
They could save you money, but they don't have a lot of amp hours. Very small cells inside a large D size package. Very light and very convenient. They plug into a cable that goes into any wall adapter with USB and has 4 short USB C cables to charge all 4 at once.I've run a baby swing on them since we bought them and they hold up well so far. We charge them about once a week. Versus the high grade single use cells that last 3 weeks. These have less power but are reusable. So overall the value and convenience is outstanding. Baby swings these days should just come with built in lithium cells but since they don't this is an excellent option.

Good idea but…
I have some rechargeable batteries for my flashlights, so I thought what a great idea to have rechargeable batteries for a camping lantern that I use in my bathroom. Yes, my bathroom is that dim. Was I ever wrong with this brand.I only use the light when I’m in the bathroom, no more than 10 minutes at a time when I’m showering. I used it once and they were dead. And not even for the shower. So disappointed with these. Please don’t waste your time or money on these useless batteries. The only good thing is you get a charging cable that will charge all 4 at once and you can use that for other devices. Not worth the price though. So if you find yourself in the product listing for this, run. Run very fast. Completely useless.

Last longer than expected
I use this in my portable water pump and they last longer than expected with each charge. I can pump about 10 5gal buckets of water into my camper before needing to be recharged

success!
i have tried a few of these rechargeable "D" batteries but these are definitely my favorite--i need 4 "D" for my flashlight that i use to get around outside in the dark--it always fails me when i need it most so i decided to stop buying more disposable batteries and try rechargeable ones--i have been using amazon's rechargeable "AA" and "AAA" batteries for a decade but the "D"s are fairly new--the charging cable is neat--charges all 4 at a time and unlike others, the charging light is simple--the light pulses a bright white and when the pulsing ceases, they are charged. so i have been thru one charging cycle (oh yeah, you need to charge these when you get them--make sure they are fully charged before using) --so they are still going strong and the charge doesn't dissipate with time like some disposables do. i like that when i need it, it is working and bright--plus they are environmentally correct!

Good batteries, short life!
Seems quick to charge but also quick to die! Does last as long as disposable batteries as it seems we're charging them more quickly then if we used disposable batteries. Probably 5 charges to 1 set of disposable. Would like to have ones that lasts as long as disposable batteries.
