I have a more recent Honda CRV. I stripped the dang oil pan threads by over tightening the bolt because the torque wrench didn't buckle when it was supposed to. Needless to say, it leaked oil.I ordered this to fix the problem and it absolutely worked! Very pleased with the result. Stopped the leak completely. If you bolt size is M14-1.5, then order this M14.1-1.5.

Bought for a customers car at my shop. A different shop stripped the drain plug and used rtv to try and seal it. A new oil pan was just north of $200 in parts alone. Tried this drain plug and now have a new customer for life

I got this to try to fix my issue with my oil pan bolt leaking this literally ruined it , I have to now buy a whole new oil pan don’t take the cheap route try something better then this also if you do use this make sure their isn’t any pieces of metal in your oil pan cause I seen a bunch of metal pieces in oil pan that can ruin your engine !!!

This little booger is a god send. The main body cuts new threads like butter in modern oil pans and seals up nicely. The center plug seals well and drains well, albeit slower than the original. I would advise the use of red locktite, or stronger, but otherwise she’s a real treat.

Worked as hoped and saved us a high repair bill on the motorcycle.

I needed to purchase this for my car because my oil plug was stripped out and leaking. This plug worked perfectly.

I would buy again super easy to use and did the job well. Installation should suggest using grease to collect the shavings otherwise they need flushed somehow.
