All right well I must say it’s a heck of a lot sturdier than I had originally thought . It holds the weight of my iPhone 6 Just fine lighting is excellent very even bask. I don’t think an extremely dark room will be necessarily a great idea I could definitely see you getting white washed however unless you plan on hanging out under covers and telling ghost stories to people over Skype I really don’t see there being too much of an issue fairly dim lighting was still extremely flattering upon switching the color in order to complement accordingly. All in all I give it five stars only minor suggestion I would make would be the arms be slightly sturdier not because I don’t think they wouldn’t hold up but simply because I am the least graceful human being on the planet and I have a tendency to knock things over and for me, it would be nice to have a little more resistance when touched also the clamp would be a little nicer if it had a screw clamp with a felt pad as well in order to strengthen grip on various surfaces when necessary. again those are just personal recommendations only because I’m a klutz And in order to Continue my survival whilst maintaining a shred of normalcy preventative maintenance is key

This thing is incredible.I ordered it for my wife for blog photographs and vlogging, and I'm ordering two more for studio lighting and travel.When I first saw pictures I thought that the light would be too small and not give the necessary lighting or effect, I was wrong. The three light modes give you the choice of a warm, neutral, or cool light, and the intensity control allows you to get exactly the brightness you need. The system plugs in via USB making it very versatile, and the little lamp is MORE than powerful enough. The clamp is strong and the goosenecks give you all the options you'll need for lamp and phone location, all for a price that can not be beat.Simply - this is the light ring you need.

Provides good light
This provides good light. It's a hair smaller than I expected, but not bad. It has a pretty broad range of brightness, but the difference between step 1 and 2 is crazy big. If the room is dim but not dark, and you just need a wash of light, this thing will struggle. But in every other scenario it works fine.I have it mounted to the back of my monitor arm, and use it for streaming, so I don't know about the strength of the phone mount.

It works okay, but breaks easily
The "wires" that hold up your phone are not very strong and bend and fall over easily. The clip doesn't fir a phone in a case and after a few months breaks on a corner, making it unusable. I ended up clipping it onto something and letting it hang down because trying to keep it upright was a joke. It would bend, move. and droop all on its own.

A must have
I have started using this every day. I use it for a lamp light and a night light at night. I use it when learning how to do something from a YouTube video. I am very happy. I wish I had ordered this years ago.

Secure, three different light options.
It's worked well within my expectations! Very nice to not have to buy a phone holder and light separate like I was originally going to. The only problem I have is the clamp for the phone is kind of... Awkward? To put on. I feel though it's the best option at holding your phone; it's definitely more secure. It ALSO has 3 different light options which I didnt know about at first! Super cool and handy, 10/10

It has a great light. Fits my phone
It has a great light. Fits my phone. Biggest down side is it doesn't support the weight of my phone so it falls. I had to prop it. The light, I also had to move to just the right spot so it wouldnt fall. Its purpose is to stand straight up without needing a prop and well it doesn't. The light is on par that's only reason why I gave it a 2.

Having to be near a place to CLIP the light AND near a USB port limits where it can be used.
The lighting is great. The only con I have (and blame myself for not noticing) is that it requires a USB plug for its power source which for me is not as convenient as a regular outlet in regards to where it can be used.
