These look great and they do the job well, on variable rail thicknesses. However having been in use for a short time now they are starting to show rust like marks and looking a bit tatty. Obviously not very resistant to steam and moisture. Bit of a shame for a shower curtain ring. Next time I will buy something a bit more expensive.

I find these roller hooks glide much more easily over my shower pole than my previous 'C' shaped plastic hooks, especially over the join in the shower pole.The hook is metal and the roller balls are plastic. I chose these hooks with plastic rather than metal roller balls in particular as the bathroom gets a lot of condensation and anything metal attracts even more. I would have liked the entire shower curtain hook to be clear plastic rather than metal for the same reason, but I guess the metal hooks are likely to be more durable.I agree with a previous reviewer that it is better to fit these onto a rail which has end access so you can just slide them on. We didn't/couldn't do this, and therefore had to fit them over the shower rail in-situ, managing to slightly scratch the pole with one in the process (we got around this by touching up the scratch with a tiny bit of gloss paint).It would also be useful if the seller could give the diameter of the hooks to enable customers to ascertain if these would fit an existing shower pole. I measured the hooks to be approx. 35mm diameter at their widest point.

Very noisy, plastic better

Very thin didn't bother using them.

Love these shower curtain ringsEasy to install and very happy that there clipped together ,Also because of the balls on them ,curtain glides so easy .So worth the little price they are ...

Much better than the plastic hooks. Slide nicely too.

Not rust proof and not sturdy hood for short term use

Does the job but could be stronger.
