Toner quality that holds up.
Based on my use, it's put it in place and forget about it. I've gone for over a couple of years before I had any concerns. To me it's a bargain.

6000+ pages
I've been using an HP1320 laser printer for about 8 years. So far, I've gone through the original toner cartridge, which should have lasted 2500 pages, and a single Q5459X cartridge, which was supposed to have lasted 6000 pages. My printer tells me that it has printed 8722 pages, and I've just installed my second Q5459X. It was nice to find that these cartridges last for at least as long as they're supposed to. HP's estimates are just about perfect. I use my laser primarily to print text. Illustrated documents go to an inkjet printer nearby. I've had no hitches with these toner cartridges, including the one I've just installed. I've tried the far less expensive toner cartridges on other printers and have not found the quality to be up to snuff. It's not worth it to me to save less than a penny per page if I'm going to get banding, variation in blacks among sentences, or need for more frequent replacement. The downside, of course, is that at first glance, this price seems ridiculously high. Let's face it: you can buy a brand new HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn for just $20 more, or the P1102w for $15 less. And they include a toner cartridge. But the toner included there is a starter cartridge and you'll shortly find yourself wanting to buy a real toner cartridge. And there they are, for a slightly higher price per page than you'll find right here - the high yield cartridges aren't even available for these new printers yet. So buck up, spend the dollars up front, and you'll have your 6000 pages of high quality output. HP's printers are astoundingly reliable so I haven't yet encountered a point where I buy toner only to find that the printer no longer works. And spend the extra dollars on the HP product. If nothing else, you'll have a reliable high-quality toner cartridge that will last a good long time.

The product was defective and the seller, Vision Supplies is horrible
When the toner cartridge was still 88% full, it started behaving as if it was nearly empty. When I contacted HP to get it refunded/replaced under the Premium Protection Warranty, they informed me that the seller should replace it. If the seller is unable/unwilling to, to simply get a first & last name, address and phone number and HP would assist. Vision Supplies refused to help in any manner. Not only did they refuse to refund or replace the faulty cartridge, they would not give me the information so that HP would take care of it. I thought that Amazon vetted their sellers and therefore Vision Supplies was a reputable company. Based on my experience, buying for Vision Supplies is no different than buying from a thug selling crap from the trunk of their car. If the price is worth the risk, more power to you. But why buy an original HP cartridge, if you can't utilize the manufacturer's warranty because the seller is a thug. If you're looking for a company that will do the right thing, go elsewhere.

OEM or go home!
I have tried refillable toner cartridges (messy pain-in-the-butt) and inexpensive remanufactured toner cartridges that waste more tine and paper than I could ever have imagined. These OEM toner cartridges are decidedly more expensive but the print quality is sharp and free of streaks, missed spots, and speckles. Less time and paper is wasted plus the frustration level is lower … much lower. The 49X is perfectly compatible with my 22 year-old HP 1320 LaserJet. Just make certain that your vendor sells only in-date cartridges!

off-brand toner for HP1320
The ad is mis-leading--there is no HP anything in this. It is not a re-manufactured cartridge as far as I can tell--all new. So the review is for a brand new HP "knock-off" toner cartridge. I've printed maybe 50 pages and so far, so good. No lines, smudges, etc. The magic circuit board on the cartridge seems to keep the yellow light on the printer happy. For the price, it seems like it's a good deal. The question is whether it is high enough quality to be able to refill toner and keep the print quality high. Time will tell.

Ink Cartridge
I thought it wasn't going to be as good as the original cartridge, since when I bought the first one from the manufacturer it was so much more expensive, so when I saw the picture of this one on Amazon, I thought to myself: "Oh well, what the heck". so I went for it. First of all, I was so surprise by the little time it took to get here, and second, I compared it to the original, it was a perfect match in EVERY way. and 20% more affordable than the original. I'll always shop with you guys, you are the best hands down. Thank you so much for helping us save on bare necesities.

Wrt to other reviews, I got this cartridge from Amazon today and it appears to be completely genuine, like others I've bought in the past from other vendors. The outer packaging had an HP holographic seal on the zip tab and the inner packaging seems fine too. (I haven't opened the inner packaging as my old cartridge hasn't run out yet.) Note that the item is sold and fulfilled by Amazon. Perhaps (I'm guessing) this was not the case previously. I can't see any signs of impending problems but will update this review if they do occur. Amazon's price (including next-day delivery with Prime) worked out to be 25% less than elsewhere, which I thought was worth a bit of support!
