Sizing is generous. Sleeve length is a bit long but can be adjusted as there are two snap locations to choose from. Overall weight is good and will work with heavier shirts such as thermal or flannel. Hood fit is good and the fleece lining keeps ears warm. In my opinion, this is a good value for the price. As for the style, it compliments casual wear nicely, particularly jeans. Only concern I have is the snaps. Be careful pulling on them. No “quick” yanks on them.

It's that time of year when the temps are starting to drop and I start to wonder if I have a go-to for this fall. And maybe even the timing coincides with a few Black Friday sales? 😃 Well, I've been buying a lot of Dixxon flannels, very stylish, and living in the Northwest, Carhartt hoodies and apparel are fairly mandatory, so I was intrigued to see this shirt from a brand I hadn't paid attention to in the past. Legendary Whitetails. The style of a flannel shirt with a hoodie? I had to take a closer look! From the ad, I was loving the color scheme of the flannel design, it had that soft 'hug me' kind of look, a warm, lined interior, and a clean, light colored hoodie. I might not know style, but I do recognize the style I like when I see it! 😁 I ordered it last night, it arrived today, and I couldn't be more excited. I live in North Idaho and the weather is feeling fresh, so what a fortuitous coincidence it should arrive while I'm out in the yard playing with my Spaniel. Unable to wait until I'm inside, I immediately open the package on the back of my flat bed pickup only to find... That it's everything I thought it would be, and more! 🥰 The colors and texture are exactly what it looks like in the picture, but even better in person. And feeling the cloth in my hand, the exterior shell is marvelously soft and squeezeable. The soft lined interior feels warm to the touch, so I removed my Carhartt hoodie and donned my newest favorite go-to outer shirt, it's wonderful! I love the hoodie, it fits my head the way I wish my Carhart's did, and instantly I felt the warmth that I just wasn't getting from the Carhart. It feels good, it fits well, I love touching it and feeling the fabric, and it looks and moves great. To the details, I ordered a XXL Tall, the length on the side was a little shorter than where my fingers lay, while it's a little longer than my fingers in the front and back. I feel like it actually fits me, I can move around in it. Do I love my purchase? I do! And at approximately the same price point as the Dixxon flannels, and being as functional as my Carharts but with style, I'm gonna be looking into making a change in my wardrobe and adding more Legendary shirts to the line up! 😊

I bought it for my husband and he says it's too warm and perfect for cold days. He used it in Washington and Oregon during freezing temperatures and he stayed warm and loved it. Good thing that it has a hoodie which he can quickly pull up during slight rain, drizzle or to even cover his ears from cold breeze. My only complaint is it is a bit long for him even though he is 5'9" tall and I have purchased a medium size, which is his regular size. Otherwise it is a perfect jacket.

I bought an XL, for reference I’m 6’3 and 200lbs. I was a bit nervous because a lot of the previous reviews showed holes or tears upon arrival but the jacket came in perfect condition. It also fits perfectly. The length is just right for tall people. Has snap buttons and two size settings for wrist closure. Pockets on the side are deep. The fluff is only in the chest, and back area. Sleeves, hood and pockets have a different lining. Pretty warm jacket for fall/winter and looks nice without being bulky.

I bought this for my son in law for Christmas. It seems to be made well and I think it will be warm. I do think they run a little larger but I won’t know until I give it to him. It was big on me(XL) at 6’ and 218 lbs.

Worth every cent! Top quality and its now my ‘go to’ warm top! It is too big but that’s my fault for not reading the message stating to order a size down. All good though as I can wear a thick jumper underneath on the really cold days.

I'm 6ft, female, 68kg, slim build, long torso, long arms, broad shoulders and upper back. Usually wear a size S in men's jackets/jumpers. I bought a M- perfect fit. Outer flannel is soft, thick material non scratchy. Inner jacket is lined with quality sherpa type material- soft, not bulky. Sleeves are lined with slippery quilted material- slides effortlessly over long sleeve base layers. All buttons are snap closure- less troublesome when you have cold fingers & hands. Hood is double layered thick quality fleece with the smooth side of the material being on the outer- less static cling especially if you have longer hair. Collar attached to the hood sits high when buttoned up (even with a long neck) brushes just under my chin- loose fit around the neck with a quality cotton drawstring for hood. Lower hand pockets are also quilt lined, good size, would have liked a snap button on these lower pockets but no biggie. Thick, solidly stitched sturdy tab inside collar- hanging jacket on hooks etc. Cuffs are adjustable- 2 snap buttons -keep in the warmth/reduce windchill, however too tight, uncomfortable (I have skinny wrists) & the buttons rub on my wrist bone. Sleeve length is shorter than I'd like, does the job, doesnt look too short however an extra inch would have been perfect. Length of jacket is same on me as on the model in pic. Size M ideal to wear under a jacket however a Size L would be needed if I wanted to wear a hoodie or the likes under this jacket. M is comfortable over more fitted sweaters etc. Size S would be too tight in the shoulders, too short in the sleeves for me. I feel the cold badly and this is by far the warmest flannel lined jacket I have purchased & can wear less layers than normal. Craftsmanship/ construction of this piece is top shelf, very impressed, very high quality all round. Will be purchasing more pieces from Legendary Whitetails in future. This was my first purchase from this brand. Get it on sale and it's an absolute steal! Highly recommend.
