This is the best pen for a puppy! We got a mischievous mini schnauzer and this is the best pen to keep him contained so he doesn't wander and get into too much trouble when we can't keep a constant watch over him. It's large enough for him to have plenty of room to play. The bottom cover is easily cleaned if there is an accident. It was super simple to assemble and seems to be very sturdy. We are very pleased with this product!

This is the best item for the pay! Don’t listen to the negative comments. This ais good material! You can start small, and then keep expanding the gate. The best part is the tarp that doesn’t leak pee and dog poop. Easy to clean. Been using it two weeks and puppy now potty trained. The dog doesn’t roam the house freely and peeing everywhere. This is a big enough space for them. Easy to set up. If you are going to set it up and it’s a puppy. Don strap it, the dog will chew it. Other than that, amazing product

We bought both the top cover and bottom pad along with the 8-panel pen. I would highly recommend having two people install the top and bottom. I did it myself, but it was tedious and cumbersome trying to undo the velcro, feed it through the fencing and then fasten it securely. At times, I was inside the pen. The quality of the material on the top cover seems quite durable. The bottom pad is durable, waterproof and easily wipes clean. We have a 7 month old English Cocker Spaniel who is about 20 pounds. He fits nicely in the pen and has plenty of room for walking around even with his bed, toys, food and water enclosed. We're quite happy so far. Our only concern (minor) is the three clips that came with the pen to secure the two ends together. They seem like a poor choice. They're too big, yet poor quality, and don't seem like they were intended for this product. (Maybe I'm doing it wrong?) We can go to a hardware store at a later date to choose a better style of clips.

Works perfectly for our corgi puppy! It’s sturdy and impossible for a little dog to knock over or climb, and the mat is perfect for a potty training puppy. He hasn’t had any accidents in it yet, but the mat seems waterproof, and I think the texture discouraged peeing/pooping in the pen like he might on carpet. It’s also big enough to sit in the pen with him, which helps with getting him used to being in it by himself. The pen is easy to set up and take down. My only complaints: (1) The Velcro straps that connect the mat to the panels are an obvious target for chewing and tugging. My puppy went for them immediately. We took the Velcro straps off, and the mat stays in place, so it’s not a problem. But I’d rather just get the mat without them to begin with because they’re a pain to take off. (2) You have to crawl inside the pen because the metal panel continues over the door. A door you can walk through would be a lot easier, especially with a puppy who tries to jump out of the pen as you crawl in.

10/10 I looked for DAYS to find something for our ~70 pound Lab who is in exercise restriction (post surgery). I wanted something tall enough that she doesn't think about jumping, wide enough that she has a little more room than a crate, sturdy material, and a piece that doesn't break the bank. This one showed up earlier than planned which was awesome, and it is really nice ! I thought the bottom was too small by looking at it, but it just fits really tight - which is better anyway ! It definitely takes two people to get the bottom liner on: we flipped it upside down, I climbed inside, and he put one section on at a time (and I Velcro'd). It's plenty big for her to have a bed, some toys, and not feel too confided. The liner is great because it protects the floor and IF she has an accident or makes a mess, it's a material that will be really easy to clean. I probably will ziptie the end sections together instead of the clips, but the clips do work. Highly recommend !
