Quite complicated
A good game once you've got the hang of it and reread the Instructions a few times. Our 9 & 10yr olds enjoyed it.

Not as good as I thought it would be.
Our grandson loves the dog man books but found it difficult to play this game. Not as enjoyable as I thought he'd find it unfortunately.

Enjoyable team board game
7 year old son is a Dog Man fan and loves this game. It is based on the book ‘Dog Man, Lord of the Fleas’. It was a surprise Christmas present and turned out to be his favourite. I’ve played it with him and it’s main advantage is that players work together to an end goal rather than against each other. (To defeat the Robo-Brontosaurus). He can play it with 6 year old and is perfect for this age group, but I enjoy it myself. Team work and tactical decision making make it an enjoyable game for all.

Very enjoyable
I’m not usually very entertained by kids games and was a bit unsure about this because of reviews but was quite pleasantly surprised. Enjoyable and not as simple as some reviews made out. When landing on tool tokens we played as if you were only able to take one of the 2 tool tokens (rules were unclear on this) which may have added to it being a bit harder? But yeah, enjoyed by myself, partner (who’s not a big board game fan) and my 9 year old daughter. Would recommend :)

Disapointing game
This game isn't thought through enough. Lots of missing game situations leading to your guess what the rules are. The bad guys have no chance of winning and this is with 2 players only. If all 6 players are present by the time the last person needs to be on the run - game may as well be over. The good guys have too many "extras" on their disposal and a game that has always only one side as the winner is a no fun game.Materials are great quality though, not cheap ones. It's unfortunate that the creator didn't want to spend more time and refine/complete the instructions, covering all the situations that may occur. So if you're looking for a structured game board skip on this one. However if your kids want to play by their own rules, make them up as they play or just want to enjoy the characters and toss them around - then yes, this could be a good gift. It can go either way...

Kids liked it at first but havent asked to play it again.
Its definitely for kids and my sons seemed quite excited to play at christmas as they love the dog man books. Its not a great game though and over rather quickly. Ita over very quickly and not something you are keen to play again soon.
