Not granulated as shown on the pictures
While the product itself is fine, I was looking for a granulated version and when the picture showed the granulated allulose on a spoon I was sure I had found it. I had not. This is just powder like any of the others.

I have found my new sugar substitute! I've tried this powder and another brand's liquid & this is the one I have subscribed to. (BTW: Make sure to dig around for the scoop. It's in there, but I had a hard time finding it... PROS: + It's affordable (compared to others - including the liquid one I tried) + There is ZERO after taste. I am really sensitive to flavors & alluose is the only one I know of that is not bitter, cooling, offensively sweet if I get it on my hands, etc. The closest one to this was a combo sweetener that was fine until I had to inhale. Every time I took a breath for the next hour, there was a slight cooling sensation on my tongue and in my throat. + This can be used as is or I can make a liquid with it. I like the powder for baking/cooking, and the liquid for adding to coffee and tea. + The bag seals up well. + There is a little scoop included - but I had to dig, dig, dig to find it! LOL + I did not experience any stomach issues, even though I added some to my coffee and tea all day, every day for about a week. + GMO-free - which is very important to me. + If this isn't as sweet as I'd like - esp with my coffee -I can add just a pinch of brown sugar & that does it for me. CONS: - This is much finer than expected. I thought it would be crystals/granules. It is very much like powdered sugar. I have to be careful when measuring it out. - I do have to be careful not to overuse this. I have CKD stage 3b & allulose is (mostly) not metabolized & is excreted through urine. This could add a bit more strain to my kidneys, so I just limit my intake. Allulose is safer for my kidneys than sugar. - I have to use a little more than I'd like to get my sweet kick. - It is not as sweet as sugar. Some people say that it is 70% as sweet as sugar. I think it's more like 60% based on what I need to use. - The bag is a bit of waste. It is 2lbs of product, but there is a lot of settling. It could be in a bag half the size, Overall, I am SO happy I found this because it helps me cut down on or, in some cases, cut OUT - sugar. I keep half the bag as is, and make a liquid with the other half.

Not as sweet as sugar but it's supposed to be a healthy alternative

Im so happy I found this sugar. Im type 2 diabetic. Just smelling a candy bar spikes my blood sugar. I tried all the other non sugar sugars and nothing compares. Allulose is excellent replacement for cain sugar. It tastes the same without any aftertaste. It cooks the same, browns the same, has nearly the same texture. Its a little more powdery so using it for sugar coated cookies is different. I make ice-cream alot. I add about 20% more if substitute for sugar. I have done blind tests with friends and no one can tell. Its nice that I can make any recipe with out spiking my BS. Allulose is expensive. About 12 bucks at my store for 12 oz. This Amazon order makes it way cheaper.

I’ve been using this as sugar replacement for baking and it’s truly the closest thing to sugar taste-wise I’ve found. Amazing! I’ve done pies, cookies, cake, pastries and tricked my family into thinking it was regular sugar. One thing to note is that you do need a little more allulose when substituting, perhaps about 25% more or so. You’ll need to experiment. And the weight isn’t a proper 1:1 if you use a kitchen scale when baking like I do. I have been kinda eyeballing a little extra grams and since we don’t like things very sweet anyways it works out. However, it increases the moisture and you WILL have to bake longer. It makes for very smooth, velvety pumpkin pies, but undercooked blondies/cookies. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars though is because it makes us quite gassy! (I think it’s worth it though …lol). Overall I love that this allows me to use less or zero sugar in my baked goods with very little change in taste, if any at all.

I bought this to make ice cream, and it works great. I would recommend it if you are like me and addicted to ice cream. I used it to make mint ice cream, and used 1 and 1/3 cup to replace 1 cup of sugar, and it is awesome! And my husband loves it too. I have not used it in anything other than ice cream, so I can't say if it's good for anything else. But really, what else could you possibly need? ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!
