Small enough to take on a motorcycle
I bought this to carry on a motorcycle in case of fuel issues on long trips. It’s compact enough to fill that need and works well to transfer fuel.

Should ship with silicone tubing / Doesn't work for hot liquids
This won't work at all with hot liquids - the PVC tubing becomes very soft and kinks at the slightest opportunity. In fact it kinks when it's cold too.Get yourself some matching silicone tubing if you want to take this seriously. I think this siphon is about 2/10 with its lousy PVC tubing and 8+/10 with it.Jiggle rapidly. It will pump a foot or more. Good times.

Tricky to get started
Takes some effort to get the flow started and make sure your supply is higher than what you’re filling to get a nice flow

Lots of work to get going
I've used this to get water out of pool but it takes long to shake it to get it going and my hand was hurting by then

Doesn’t work
Worked twice. And then didn’t.I would return it but after it worked the first time I cut the plastic tube that it came with. Bummer.
