Brilliant!
I've had to wear a nightguard for several years now, so you can imagine how much I've spent having them renewed by my dentist. When the last one went amiss whilst on holiday I thought I'd give this company a go. After all at worst all I'd lose was £32, small bananas compared with the £220 I was paying at the surgery.I found the kit easy to use and the instructions straight forward to follow. I was a bit concerned as the mould looked like nothing I'd seen when I'd had them done by the dentist, but a week after posting back to the lab, my new guard arrived. It fits very well, in fact I'd say better than any I've had previously! The material is not as thick as I'm used to but it holds shape very well, gives great support and is comfortable to wear. It doesn't make me lisp as previous ones have so if needs be I can wear it during the day as it's virtually invisible. A very professional product!

Mouldy with much less dough!
The mold kit arrived very promptly (next day) with easy to follow instructions. You are provided with a return envelope but have to attach your own stamps. The instructions state to treat the return package as a 'large letter'. However, my envelope (with mold) was over thick and I had to pay more than the stated postage fee (£4.30 recorded delivery). The following day I received an email confirming receipt at the lab and acknowledgment that the mold/impression I had made was good enough to proceed. 6 days later I received another email stating that work was complete and the finished item had been dispatched to me. It arrived the next day.The guard fits perfectly and I used it for the 1st time last night with no discomfort at all. Great fit and a good nights sleep!Apart from the extra cost of postage, which I put down to having an extra large gob, I am very pleased indeed with the service, particularly the great communication and speed of process. I know I have saved a small fortune in dentist's fees.

Value for money
My dentist provided me with my first guard about 10 years ago, at a cost of £200. It was a solid plastic guard and fitted on my top teeth. It survived my nightly grinding until the dog got hold of it a few weeks ago and reduced it to several small pieces! After much research, I found this DIY product for over a quarter of the price of another dentist-fitted guard. The instructions were very clear and my tooth impression was perfect because I followed the instructions closely. My only complaint would be the length of time it took for the completed guard to be posted back to me - around 10 days.I was surprised to find guard is made from a flexible plastic, but it fits really well and after wearing for 2 nights, I've had no rubbing or discomfort. Time will tell whether it will stand up to really serious grinding.....

Poor quality, lasted 1 week!
Having read all the positive reviews and been quoted in excess of £200 for a new guard from my dentist, I figured this was worth a shot. To start with the guards sent in the impression kit were far too large to even fit in my mouth and I had to request a smaller one. I found it reasonably easy to take the impression and the guard was made quickly. It fitted well, but within 1 week it had worn through on one side. In my opinion, it is not suitable for those suffering from Bruxism and along with the risk of cracking my teeth- I began to experience intense pain in my jaw and teeth. This product is clearly made from an inferior quality material than those that dentists use, as the one from my dentist lasted about 2 years before going through. The one from my dentist also protected against the pain. I cannot recommend a product costing £40 that only lasts for 1 week! I went to Boots and bought a Dentek guard for £26 and it is vastly superior, being made from a tougher material and providing protection for the teeth and relief from the pain. Save yourself a lot of time and trouble and get the Dentek guard which you mould yourself in the microwave!

To do the correct impression kit will be quite complecated ...
To do the correct impression kit will be quite complecated though there is a video available on youtube with instructions. You will have to do both lower and upper but they will produce for you only one. Either lower or upper. If you don't do the impression kit correctly, you will have to pay for redoing them. Plus i had to pay for sending the impression kits to them. This product is not cheap, the return label should be added for all orders. The fitting of complete product is ok with slight tightness on one side but bearable. I don't want to pay all over again to make the new one.
