These are OK. They fitted the pressure cooker OK. On the pressure cooker's working fine.

It fixed our problem

I had to replace one of these after my pressure cooker boiled dry and the core of the safety valve melted, as it was supposed to do. It was fairly easy to fit, but some instructions would have been helpful. Couldn't find any online either.

works perfectly in my, high dome, prestige pressure cooker , flat part with blue washer , to the bottom of lid , is how they fit , otherwise they wont work , thank you very much amazon and supplier ......

Watch a You Tube video of how to attach valve to pressure cooker before trying to fit the valve as there are no fitting instructions included. Carefully remove the black seal before pushing the valve in place from under the lid. The blue seal remains underneath. Then carefully place the black seal over the part of the valve which protrudes above the lid. Suitable for 4 litre high dome prestige pressure cooker.

This is a good value for money valve. It claims universal but they are not thought it was fit for the cooker of the same company.

I have had this new Prestige Valve for a few weeks and it does not cook the veg. i have tried it with a Timer and cant get my veg to cook even when i put the timer on for 10 min. Normally with my old Pressure cooker valve i only have to cook my veg for 6 Min and never had a problem with the veg or any other food it was always cooked for the time i put it on for. Very disappointed in this new valve. I am going to get in touch with Amazon to see if i can return it.
