It is ideal for my friend who loves doing jigsaws

Packaging is fairly minimal - some expanded polystyrene sheets lining a cardboard box. The first one never made it to me, and was returned directly by the courier - presumably it had got damaged in transit. The main puzzle board area is not fixed tightly (as other reviewers have pointed out). Mine is only not tacked securely in a couple of corners and isn't coming away enough to be able to insert some glue (which would be how I would fix it). The board is a good size (I bought the 1500-piece size) and is sufficient for the puzzles I wanted it for. The weighted mat is good for covering the part-completed puzzle and the piece-sorter drawers slide easily. There are rubber feet under each of the four corners so that it doesn't scratch the surface you are placing it on.The board can be a bit unwieldy to move around as it needs to be kept flat. There is also the issue of where you store it as it won't store easily on its side. I have it under an old settee in the room where I use it - convenient as it has a low profile and can be kept out of the way.This board is excellent for using in the house - but if you need more portability or lack somewhere to store it flat then a puzzle roll would be the better option.

Firstly, the size is excellent for those with large puzzles (or board games), and the drawers are great. Sadly, the top surface is only pinned to the frame with a few headless tacks and on mine its already becoming detached in some areas after just one day.It’s hard to find a puzzle board at this size, so I intend to buy some picture tacks to nail it down at the edges - it won’t look as good, but at least the work surface will be sturdy and flat. This really shouldn’t have been necessary, though.

Great size of board. I have bought it as a Christmas gift. It is really well made and looks excellent. Easy to move if needed. I am really impressed with this puzzle board. Worth the money. It arrived on time, and really securely packed.

As you can see it does not fit the 1000 peaces puzzle I ran out of space to add the last few pieces to complete the corner.So I suggest get the larger board.1050
