Tried to install this in my car today for the HUPEJOS dash cam that I bought recently. Firstly, The "recommended people by with" power system that Amazon recommended doesn't work with the V7 dash cam because the power connection on the camera is USB-C and NOT mini-USB. I didn't discover this until AFTER I bought the camera and got an email saying I HAD to use THEIR model hardwire kit because it's the only one that will work.Secondly, once I got this kit and tried to install it. The fuse connections are NOT universal and turned out to be too big for my KIA Soul's fuse box. They also aren't "add-a-fuse" design like most of the other's i've seen (which allows you to use a slot that's already taken but plug the existing fuse in anyway. If you're going to send an email saying that a customer MUST use your brand you should make sure your brand works for the customer. Also makes getting the 24 hour radar detection feature impossible since it doesn't come separate from the hardwire kit.
