Worked as advertised! Bought this and took it to a locksmith who only needed a couple hours to make it work with my son's 2016 Kia Optima. He has one key fob that's on the fritz and this gives me peace of mind he won't be left without a key somewhere.

I got this and compared it to the original 2018 Kia Optima key fob that was no longer working and it is identical to the original. You could not tell the difference. I had a locksmith program it and cut the key and it works perfectly. Great item at a great price.

The pop a lock man programmed this less than 5 mins and carved the key …125$ other places didn’t want to program it . I guess seeing it would cost less to do only thing is it pops open sometimes .. the casing.

Exactly as described. Make sure you understand that this fob will need to be programmed by a dealer or a locksmith. Also the key blank needs to be cut as well. Great replacement unit for my Kia. Programming and key cutting cost less than the typical price of the fob alone.

Wow, this was an easy purchase. I took it to my local locksmith and in less than 15 mins he had it back in my hands, tested and working perfectly. The whole cost with the fob and keying, was 1/3rd of what a dealer would gleefully have charged me. Wow...

Although I was able to get the key cut, I was not able to get the fob programmed. I took it to two key makers none were able to program the fob. I would like a refund. One key maker said the fob didn’t contain a chip that would allow the fob to be programmed.
