I use this for hydroponics not fish and does the job just perfectly some say it's noisy but I dont agree it makes a small buzz but not bad at all, Theres loads of appliances in the house that make a noise (fridge or freezer) for example and you dont notice that so why complain about this pump and great value for money as well.

I purchased this for my Betta as the other filter was too strong. It’s brilliant, I struggled to find one at a good price, I think this is great. It’s quite quiet, just make sure the pump isn’t sitting against anything. The filter is adjustable with the little grey knob which is very handy. It cleared up the water so quickly I was really pleasantly surprised with it’s performance. Assembling was easy enough, just ensure the back flow valve has the narrow end towards the water flow. Make sure to have scissors on hand to trim the tubing to the desired length as well.

I have 5 guppies and they were all staying at the top of the tank and I thought it was because there was low oxygen in the water so I bought this pump. Turns out that it was not because of that and they were swimming low the day of delivery. The fish seemed way happier with it in the tank tho. It’s very compact which is always good but it is a bit noisy. Definitely the most reasonable price for a pump I’ve seen in ages.

The media could not be loaded. We've had this pump for 4½ years, it is sat on a scrap of fabric and is still extremely quiet and powerful.We have an old biorb tank for temperate fish and I'm on my third biorb pump in 2 years. This little pump is in use in our tropical tank and we've not needed to replace it.This is an excellent quality product.The casing is a little discoloured because it used to be in direct sunlight for much of the day but that is cosmetic and not a problem. It is now tucked away behind the new tank.I will definitely buy another to keep in as a spare.

Needing a new pump for my small goldfish aquarium, I was impressed by the look of this Uniclife Aquarium MA-60 air pump, the added bonus was it promised it was quiet (in the name) and had accessories including the check valve, air-stone and tubing. At first the pump was relatively quiet and did a pretty good job, however that didn't last long as the pump couldn't be run 24/7, it heated up and became quite loud. Luckily my dozing goldfish seemed alright at night when I put off the pump in case of fire, whilst we slept. Now 5 months on and I'm writing this review as the pump is too loud to keep going without tearing my hair out, also it's heating up after only two hours, so maybe a fire hazard. As a spend for the pump £1.80 per month for daylight pump action in my aquarium was a bit more than I thought to spend, but as the pump was alright while it lasted will give 3 stars. UPDATE: 7 Aug 2020 A new one of these pumps has heated up after only 3 days and that's 3-4 hours after putting on the morning, as I kept it off during the night until I knew the safety aspect of the new electrical item.

I cant believe this product has been advertised as silent - it IS NOT SILENT at all! it actually makes a loud humming noise and even putting a towel underneath does not help. if it made a light hum it wouldn't have been as bad but this is loud. That is not even my issue, the issue is that i had the item for two weeks I switched it off for the first time to fo a water change and when i switched it back on the hum was louder, lets mention that this was placed in my 2-year-olds room, the pump popped and then smoke started coming out. i switched it off in a panic before it set alight.I cannot believe what had happened and it was lucky i was right there i can only imagine it had done that in the night and caught fire while we were sleeping. I have asked for a refund because this is so dangerous. PLEASE DO NOT BUY

I purchased an Interpet pump about 8 months ago for my 60 litre Bio Orb tank that houses 4 Fancies. The pump, after a clean out just packed up 😒 not very impressed. The search began for a replacement. Enter this little gem 💎 ✨️ It's so QUIET! Much quieter than the Interpet by a long shot, compact and surprisingly powerful, it emits a lovely stream of bubbles. My fish immediately improved, they'd been 2 days minus a pump and were not very happy. No longer were they hanging at the surface, they began swimming around normally again 😊 Happy Fish. I would definitely recommend this pump, especially for the price, its a bargain 👌🏻
