I like this item a lot. These stainless mesh infusers work so much better than the old standards. Really--MUCH better water flow means you're getting the most out of your tea. Plus, the stainless mesh tea infusers are healthier to use, and they bigger--they hold more tea, so that you can make a small pot at one time instead of just one tiny cup. The price is very good as well. Overall a very good deal.

I feel like there could be a better tea strainer, but I haven't found it yet. I like the easy spring-action one-handed mechanism. But unfortunately the seal between the two ball halves isn't very tight. Decent, but not the perfect strainer I was looking for.

This is not stainless steel. I could not use either of the 2 I ordered as they do not meet correctly so it would have to be very large leaves to stay in strainer. I think they got all bent up somewhere as the mesh was caved in as well. One was dirty and it rusted after I washed it. Didn't waste my time washing the other. The metal is VERY SOFT who knows what it is.

I find this preferable to traditional tea infusers where you need to snap it shut yourself---I manage to get tea leaves everywhere.Easy to clean and works great. It ships from China which I didn't realize when I purchased it so it takes a little while to arrive, but it's worth it!

This is super awesome for loose tea leaves! I would caution people who purchase this. It is made of a very thin metal so it is very easy to bend out of shape if you are not careful when washing it. I am however, very satisfied with my purchase overall!

My second order of these tea spoons: They are perfect for brewing a cup or large mug of tea; make great additions to a gift of tea too.

Not riveted properly. I bought 2, and in each, the rivets holding the spring arms came off. Also, the crimping of the mesh isn't tight, so tea gets trapped there and is hard to rinse off.

Doesn’t clamp tight enough so sometimes tea comes out & gets into my cup.

I guess you get what you pay for though £4.95 is not that cheap! The mesh has starting to show rust just after one week of using it. Don't think this is very safe to use with food!
